This is a good, still fun discussion.. I think, most people think that Fontaine was better than Natlan because it was theatrical, the plot twist was HUGE.. Natlan is a shonen, the power of friendship.. which people hate on the latter, but I love it. The execution was phenomenal. Also to add, people love plot twists no matter good/bad. They literally gave an example in the Archon quest, with Navia's Dad, Callus.. An Incredible Guild Leader murdered his right hand man? The fontainians loved believing that! Such a disappointment after fontaine, honestly, not impressed with the kits, characters nor the story, too cliché and my little pony- esque, this was my most anticipated nation and it became my least favorite, i don't have high hopes for Snezhnaya but i really really wish i'm wrong.

I like it from an exploration point of view or puzzles and stuff. But the archon quest just made me yawn. I feel like the diversity was just lacking personality. Its just ooo, abssy, dinos and then what?? I was just so underwhelmed. I think I only liked Ororon because he was the only interesting character

Natlan also doesn't have enough male characters. The flying gun and the Motorcycle are not well integrated into the world. A lot of the Natlan characters have no personality and Mavuika is just a Marry sue

for a region that has so many people dying on a daily basis.... they seem too happy and they still worry about inconsequential stuff that should not even be discussed when your country is at war.

I do not participate in genshin social media or really any social media. I had no clue people disliked Natlan so much. I understand the criticism behind diversity, but I've sadly kind of come to accept that about genshin. Natlan has been my favorite region so far because it doesn't feel so stuffy and feels more dynamic? I like to see them trying new types of game experiences like the archon quest because it feels new and gets me excited to sit through a 6 hour solo quest.

Honestly Natlan may not be my number one but it’s ABSOLUTELY FUN overworld exploration wise, it’s the only nation where I’ve willingly done the world quests and had fun with them

i really dig the overworld, world quests, exploration puzzles and such; the motorcycle and skates feel really out of place for me, kinich and mualani as well as kachina's skills fit more into the game overall, but i might just be biased here. mavuika is pretty interesting, the overall archon situation - i dont really get - it just seems a bit weird how she's human, and all of them were (as far as i'm aware) also, since natlan came right after fontaine, which imo genshin peeked at, it just seems to lack a bit (dude i swear all the words i just said dont even make any sense, but they do make sense om)

I genuenly don't care. I think fontane is better but natlan is probably like third because sumeru is way too good but natlan is still really good. The characters are also great and it has (in my opinion) the darkest quest in this game that being xilolens story quest. The designs are great and the writing is also really good. It also has Capitano wich already makes it top three. There's a crap ton of fanservice though wich i don't particulary care about but it could be annoying to players.

IMO Natlan brings so many new things to the game. The tribes, saurians, more expressions, and ofc the lore. But it kinda scattered. It makes Natlan so distinct compared to the other regions so far. I'm still expecting for them to connect all of that with the whole teyvat arc tbh
