1 year ago today we lost a warrior in our friend Jeremy Lusk to a tragic crash on a horrible night in Costa Rica. The way Dr. Greene counsels the young student is priceless !!
today is 30 years er debut on nbc monday 19 th september 1994
today is 30 years this wonderful episode airing on nbc 19 september 1994
wonderful episode from italian boy live in rome
"Excuse me, im a little 🤢" "Oh that's okay, I didn't need you anyway" 😂😂😂
People come in here and they are sick 🤒 dying and bleeding.🩸.
Keep your head down there is no rush just relax 😎 ugh it stopped ☔️. Don’t ever say you’re sorry.😢. See this there’s two kinds of 🥼 there is some kind of get rid of their feelings. And they kind of keeps them if you keep your feelings you are gonna get 😷 from time to time that was just how it works keep your head down
People come In here and they’re 😷 dying and bleeding and they may need our help.helping them is more important than how we feel well it is still pain in an ass sometimes and sometimes I just want to quit and do something else yeah you will have to take it a few minutes by the way I was in 🏥 🏫 that he used to get 🤢 all the time so don’t let them get anything 💩 you’re gonna be fine
I love that Carter gave the same speech to Gallant a a few seasons later.
This was a great show, with an amazing score. A beautiful ending for the loved ones. Closure.
E.R season 1 through 15 is fake
Too bad they killed Dr Greene off 😪
If Mark is the second first, I Wonder how much poison is killing him.
Brings tears to my eyes every single time.
The makers of ER came to the UK to see how a medical drama is supposed to be so they shadowed the producers of Casualty
Happy birthday at anthony edwards from italian boy live in rome and i m fan of er
Does anyone know what the song is that’s playing?
The musical score is done by an artist named Frans Bak. The song might be a shorter/softened version of his song called "Prologue"... but I'm not really sure. Wasn't able to find it 10 years ago when the show aired, and still cant find it now after rewatching season 2 all these year later.
After just now relistening to it. I'm 100% wrong. lol. Has similar harmonic vocals, but nah... not even close, I'm dumb hahah
Dr. Carter was my favorite. I stopped watching the show when Carter left
I love this scene. Greene was awesome. So was Carter.
Anyone see Carter in the movie Enough?
Dear greys anatomy you were never be as good as ER sorry
The best scene ever.
what a mentor, mark ! ( it is also the great skill of building up a character )
БЛЯ МУРАШКИ. ЩАС ЗАКОНЧИЛ 2 СЕЗОН. СУКА ШЕДЕВР ПРОСТО
we know to rosie.. 🦋
Lo mejor que he visto en mi vida, The Killing, mi serie favorita, nunca me canso de ver estos videos
I finished med school today. even though he's fictional, Dr. Green will always be my role model in this profession :')
Congrats and now go save some lives! ;)
@@justonerider thank you! I hope I can some day!
@@nope.13 im sure you can!!!!
You set the tone Shahd
Agreed. I miss this era of medicine. It is so crazy since CoViD
There are so many scenes where you feel like greene is the nicest doctor out there and i love their friendship

I am in this situation......omg
Hang in there!!!
0:10 Gilbert Lowe (Anthony Edwards) from *"Revenge of the Nerds"* 👍
True legend of fmx rip buddy you’re not forgotten
It is my sad duty to inform you that Vanessa Marquez, who played nurse Wendy Goldman on 'ER', was shot a killed by police in San Diego on August 30, 2018l , per Variety.
Fuck man .....this hurts
This is the reason I gave this show a chance . This scene right here . We love you mark Greene
Helping them is more important than how we feel. Ugh how epic is this speech !
RIP Jeremy
that end though :'( thanks for putting it up. i absolutely loved the killing.
YES. IMPORTANT. People say “Oh if you get sick/faint at [insert scenario here] you’ll never be able to be a doctor.” I’ve been told this one too many times. I’m sorry, are we supposed to _like_ to see other human beings in a mutilated state? Are we supposed to _enjoy_ the sight of blood and guts (provided we aren’t all serial killers)? Or say we pass out after getting a shot or getting blood drawn - are we supposed to _like_ having needles stabbed into our arms (provided we aren’t all addicted to drugs)? Are we supposed to _like_ the smell of formaldehyde or the sight of dead bodies? Broken bones? Unsightly fluids? Are we supposed to be used to all this if we don’t see it or experience it on a daily basis? Yes, if someone is going to treat patients, there needs to be a point where they’re able to overcome their squeamishness and hang in there, but there’s never a point where they have to stop being human. So to all seasoned physicians out there who have ever told a physician-in-training that they need to suck it up or they won’t be able to handle a career in medicine, remember how you were as a med student. Remember how you were as a pre-med student. You could be conning the world out of a great doctor when you squash someone’s confidence by condescendingly assuming they’ll never succeed in medicine if they feel woozy once in a while. God bless Dr. Greene for not doing that to Carter.
Dr Greene saved my father's life. He is such a good doctor.
This scene is one of the primary reasons I'm in medical school right now. Today I started my rotation at the emergency department and I had to do something for a patient and almost screwed it up and when I tried to tell the treating doctor that I was sorry for being too nervous, she told me a modified version of Dr. Greene's little speech here. Tomorrow I have my first shift :')
I so miss this show so much. I wish I can watch it all over again.
I can watch it over and over..
I love this show
How many greys anatomy fans are hear to see what's so great about this show? 😂MEEEEE
woah !!Noah is so young !!
song
justonerider ty
Same scene was repeated, but that time Carter after dr. Greene's death was talking with a student and told him the same words, which he heard from Mark in 1st episode. Anyone remember, which episode was it?
Season 8 Episode 20. The.Letter
thanks :)
literally just watched it! that's why I'm here
Saw the Dr. Carter Letter one first because the show started before my parents allowed my to watch and then later on in my life I watch all the episodes in order and broke down at that moment. All because of this moment relating to that one so well.
Wasnt it Carter talking to Gallant?
Wonder how many actual medics chose their career based on E.R.
Just a Random Dude I did
I was half way through my nurse training when I started to watch ER, found myself using some of the lines from characters on real life patients
i am going to
I did :)
Here is me, a pediatrician who always desired to be like Dr. Ross, from the childhood :)
When I was 12 years old in 1995 I discovered this show after my parents allowed me to get a TV in my bedroom. I really became interested in EMS at the time and I loved this show. The first 3 seasons were the best then I stopped watching it.
aran125 I actually hung around till Mark Green passed away. Of course I wound up watching later episodes on cable in later years. One of my favorite TV series to be sure! Cheers
***** YES....the heart and soul of ER did go with Dr. Green! For me personally ER and other shows such as West Wing that have a "few" years under their belts AND are such story telling shows too ALWAYS left me a bit sad after they signed off. Smiling, I guess I allowed "them" to become family and we all grieve over lost family in our lives! Smiling and Cheers from OHIO
Greene looks so young. He has all his hair.
Probably one of the all time GREATS that NBC-----Ever had on their crappy network---And now you cannot ever find it in re-runs any where. You would think with the way they are doing they would want some residual money coming in??
A UK satellite network is now showing reruns, except heavily edited. About a month ago they showed the scene where Dr Greene got beat up in the men's room... not NEARLY as graphic as I remember it from 21 years ago
Years ago, the ABC station in Philly had an overnight block on the weekends called "ER Theater". 2 Episodes of ER back to back.
I watched it on Hulu. Then bought it on disc 'cause I want to have it forever. 😄
