Hello, nice video! I have noticed that you travel very often between Brazil and Europe with KLM/AF, do you live there? Also, I am flying from Amsterdam to Rio in late October. Any comments on the KLM business class? Cheers!

Wait till you see their business class amenity kits. They’re absolute horror. It’s a joke in the name of sustainability. I tend to prefer AF over KLM for long haul.

The laundry bag is easily the worst hard product for this travel class imo. They can definitely use similar recycled materials to provide a decent toiletry bag or perhaps do something more creatively and typically Dutch that adds character like the little Dutch houses in BC.

Very little food on a 12 hour flight

Since you had no bags to drop, you could have considered checking in. Was that something not possible for you?

Thanks for the video. We just reserved Premium Comfort for direct flights between Las Vegas and Amsterdam. We usually go economy but we're getting older, and it's harder to sit for 10 hours squished into one of those seats. So we're splurging a little for some comfort. I just hope there's no wall right behind the last row in Premium that prevents the seats from reclining all the way.

I agree totally, never spent money for BC, would give that to my childs because they could make a few weeks holidays from that 😁

Felt as if i were there.

On the short/medium routes, SAS' "business class" - or rather, SAS Plus - has really started to suck, with little space sideways or leg room. As a tall person that is why I often upgrade, so now I have actively started avoiding SAS, even here from CPH, and seek out airlines that eg. keep the middle seat empty.

Great to see the positive review. We (family of 4) have booked with KLM from Dub-Ams-Bkok next June. Premium Economy was only about 1000euro more expensive for the 4 of us as we booked almost 10 months ahead of our upcoming trip. A no-brainer really. Only downside is picky children and the food menu but we can bring our own on board. Great video!

Thanks! If you are connecting from a non-schengen flight to another schengen flight both on KLM and your ticket includes lounge access, can you use this lounge? I notice the lounges are available before passport control for transit passengers but am not sure of the access rules.

Hi there cool video thanks. I see that Air France 🇫🇷 nowadays uses a bigger aircraft on this route. A Boeing 737-900. My next time in Fortaleza I will definitely fly with AIR FRANCE 🇫🇷.

Well that went super smooth, didn’t it? You were rebooked automatically and where is the chaos? What do you expect from an airline in case a plane goes tech? You have access to the Platinum Service line so you can be rebooked within a few minutes. There is also a good connection via LIS to FOR. Could have been an option as well so you’d arrive on the same day.

Informative and it seems KLM is giving our different amenity kits on different routes in Premium Economy. My last tip from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur I received a 'full' amenity kit in Premium Economy, end of June this year. So they either took your advice or had too many complaints about the laundry bag accessory. I also enjoy the Premium Economy, in fact I prefer it over Business Class in KLM, as even though the Bus Class seat is fully flat, it is still to short for my length to fully stretch my body and legs down flat. Just a word of advice, KLM is very strict about filming in the cabin, I see you did film other passengers and cabin crew and you were lucky, KLM explicitly forbids this and you can end up being held up upon arrival.... Good video though!

You make no mention of showers in either lounge. If I have been flying long haul, a shower is very important.

At 4:00, you can adjust the windows by swiping from left to right to dim them, and from right to left to return to normal visibility. The crew has the ability to override this feature, but when the aircraft is on the ground, you won't be able to use it.

Thanks. I was trying to determine if I needed to pass through passport control before or after gate F9...solved it. Passport control first, then access the lounge near the entrance to the F area.

I agree with you, KLM premium economy feels better than Air France. I think the food in AF PE is the same as in economy, in KLM it is a little better etc. Just came back home after an AF business class flight Paris x Rio and unfortunately the business AF is in decline. I don´t understand why the staff in business is so boored and unfriendly, maybe because they are old and 'experienced'. Next fligts booked in economy with both AF and KLM. Oh, yes... Your videos are great! Keep up the good work!
