Performers: Daniela de Santis / Giampaolo Nuti The Sonatina for Piano Four Hands dates from around 1995 and is dedicated ‘To grandmother Irina and granddaughter Irina’, Schnittke’s wife and granddaughter. The score is neater and less ambiguous than those of the Symphony No. 9 and Viola Concerto No. 2, suggesting that the composer may have been assisted: An earlier date is unlikely, as Schnittke...

every parts play the sentence in brackets individually as fast as possible till the marks end.
Thank you so much for uploading all this music, you're seriously my hero
Outstanding. Hard as hell to perform. The cross rhythms with double stopping well, this is for the virtuosos. Fascinating to listen and appreciate. This violinist is beyond great ! All 3 solo violin sonata's are precious gems. I'm so happy I could find these. Such structure. There is something particularly haunting about this 3rd sonata. This is written so methodical I hang on to every note waiting for the next! This is a big masterwork.
Talk about Weinberg having his own voice. This is a magnificent piece of music that more to Bach than any Russian Compatriots. This truly holds together for all 25 minutes. This is so well thought out. A wonderful performance I might add.

Gracias por el video!
Been looking for this score forever!!!!
Hallo. I'm interested to find music by Harry Ore here, because I found one or two of his pieces many years ago in piles of old sheet music in a bookshop, and bought them (along with a lot of other stuff - I collected old sheet music for many years to play on the piano - just anything that looked interesting to me). One of the pieces by Harry Ore I bought on that occasion was the mosquito one here - just that piece, not the whole suite. Evidently they were published separately. (I don't remember now without looking what else I got by Harry Ore.) This music was definitely intriguing, mixing a classical style with a certain sultry kind of tropical harmony in places, like the sinuous chromatic meanderings in the mosquito piece here alternating with more standard harmony. His name (Harry Ore) sounded British enough, and I probably assumed (correctly) that he had gone to live in Asia and had been influenced by the music he encountered there. The only wrong assumption I made was that he was British - I would never have guessed he was a Latvian Jew. Anyway, I'm glad to find all this music here by him. He seemed to be so obscure that I never thought I would ever encounter anything by him ever again. So thank you for putting this here. Can you please tell me who the pianist is? I think you've given the name in Chinese script, but I can't read that (I am in Australia). And does the same person play all the Harry Ore music you have here? Thank you.
Thanks for commenting, this piece was performed by Zhang Yiming and Cai Congli*. The audios of the score-videos about Ore were recorded by several pianists in Xinghai Conservatory of Music.
@@quinone_bob Thank you. I did see for sale on Amazon a C.D. of music by Harry Ore. Is that the source of the recordings you have used here, or is that quite separate?
Hauntingly beautiful ❤❤❤ Thank you so much for the upload!
2 и 4 части изменения в тексте
Maravillosa😮
Striking quartet! As the other comment said, there's hints of Beethoven, but I just love how Silvestrov makes it sound like a commentary, a post scriptum, on the traditional forms and procedures. He's truly one of the greatest of our times!
15:45
Оригинально,необычно,как будто рисует другой мир ,который нам не доступен.
This has got to be one of my favorite contemporary violin concertos, up there with Qigang Chen's! Top notch music!
masterpiece
Brilliant masterpeice
These are very nice, No. 3 is my favourite and the slow pieces are very pretty though I don't think No. 7 needed to be written like that lol. Coveys the right idea though.
No. 7 was probably written that way because he doesn't want the resonance of the other strings since he specifically notes sempre senza pedal.
Hey, where can i get the score ?
This piece was mentioned on a May 28, 2024 National Public Radio segment about orchestral music in Kharkiv, which continues in spite of Russia's continued invasion. The title of the segment is "Kharkiv Orchestra: The Band Plays On Despite the Bombs."
Holy shit
Almost unbearably beautiful! What a striking piece! ❤❤❤
These brass players can’t fell the 7/8 to save their lives. Jesus. Always late. Poor pianist
Beautiful, mysterious, ethereal. Perhaps the most enigmatic of Silvestrov's early symphonies. One can clearly hear his voice coming through in this one, and the leap forward that would be the fifth makes a whole lot more sense in light of the fourth. Thanks for the upload! 😊
common frank dupree W
I thought I had heard all of Schnittke's music, but didn't know this one and it's really cute 😍
13:41 Fermata with attacca!
Remarkable piece of music! I get the impression Silvestrov was trying his hand at the most current musical trends of his days when he wrote his first symphonies. Regardless, stunning composition! Thank you for the upload!
how to get scoreee
I didn't know these early - 1st to 3rd - Silvestrov symphonies, and I must say this first one is really good! Sure, it isn't the Silvestrov of today, but his future voice shines through in many passages of this fine symphony. Thank you so much for the upload! 😊
1. Dithyramb - 0:05 2. Intermezzo - 2:33 3. Dance - 6:37

I am currently playing this piece for my diploma exam, but I can't find anything about this piece, not even the composed year. Anybody has any resource about this piece?
wrong rhythm in left hand 18:43
al fin puedo ver la partitura, que belleza madre mía!
Kinda reminds me of Ornstein's concerto a bit. Definitely has the same energy as it.
gotta listen to this bullshit for school
