Hello everyone, I am bentheidioticnerd and I am into trains, fire alarms, and video games. I live by the Chesapeake and Albemarle shortline that I like, my favorite loco being the 502. Also, check out my good friends channel Chesapeake&albemarle2158 as he has videos of the C&A too, two being shot at the same place at the same time and both times on youtube. Well, that's all for now, goodbye.

Foamer. Nice catch btw!!!!
Thanks
Love that #502!
Hey Ben I have a question what do you use to combine videos to make compilations like this?
I use an editing app called Splice
The BNSF Santa Clause X-Press! (1994)!
Farewell Charley! (NEW)!
What’s the name of the school that that’s my question
Brands of fire alarms are very loud and they should use a wheelock instead because it’s slightly quieter and it would not blast out my ears.
Wheelock alarms are still incredibly loud. Stick with Gentex.
@@aidanthetoiletelevatorfire7554 they are actually 15 dB quieter than the system sensor or the TruAlert.
Why is the P2RL on continuous but the P2R on Temp 3?? It would make more sense the other way around!
I have no idea why
Probably different installers. I would of gone for continuous
Pickle700 should see this because of mixed signals
This was amazing!!!! I loved this!!!!
Thanks!
I stumbled upon your channel while browsing and I liked your short "documentary"! But I think you might have some issues with the sound!? I had to put the volume up to max and I still couldn't properly hear it, unless I stayed really close to the phone... I will sub cause you are just starting and you need subs! And I hope you will grow not only into a success but also into a professional....
Thanks! Sorry for the problems with the sound, some of the lines were filmed at different times since I didn't make a script for this. Practically made up parts of the story as filming the voice lines for it. All the lines were filmed late last night as I didn't think to, or have many places to record them. The story was also rushed since the deadline I had for posting it was halloween. Came very close to not meeting it as it was posted at 11:53pm. Also, because it was only thought of 3 days ago, I think I could have done better at it. Still, I quite like how it turned out for a first time thing for me and glad you enjoyed it!
@bentheidioticnerd8993 can't wait to hear more interesting stuff from you...
@@ancaboghitoiu2971 might do something for Christmas, but don't know what
My ears hurt too much 0:21
Why is it so loud?
I don’t know. It’s the brands of the fire alarms and they should just use a wheelock brand instead because those are slightly quieter and don’t damage my ears.
@@TrafficlightsiosandmoreI don't think Wheelock is necessarily quieter. Plus most of the Horns are 4903-9219 Electromechanical Horn Strobes with Silver Sounder Plates that Honk and Vibrate
Electromechanical Horns vibrate through walls and spaces thus making them so loud
@@zenobialeclair2527 that's why I love them!
0:09 sound like the fire alarm that I have in my school!
Does your school have these TrueAlert sounding 4903-925X Selectable Electronic Horn/Strobes?
My school which is Wilcox High school has vintage fire alarms, but not like the one at the end of the video and they’re set to continuous.
Cool!
This guy is the foremost fire alarm knowledgeable person I have ever encountered I have known him since he was a toddler smart since birth
This is very nice! Could you make a K5LLA compilation next?
Maybe
0:05 The 2nd one sounded like my elementary school’s alarm
How many 4903s did that school have
Most of the alarms in the school are 4903s
I'ma take a guess; possibly somewhere between 50 and 100 4903s probably way off. I think the model numbers are 4903-9219, 9236, 9252, 9253, 9254, 9425 Horn/Strobes and 4904-9137 Strobes. As for the System Sensors P1224MC, P241575, P2R, P2RL, S241575.
@@LorenLorenzen-s8h There are some vertical 4903s, at least one Truealert strobe, and a newer 4904 strobe that is a ceiling mount on the wall.
Nice video
Thanks! Whenever I see this layout at train shows, they always have something interesting running on it
Simplex and spectr alert is the best thing here
More please!!!!
VERY COOL!!! it was fun railfanning with you today!
It was! Shame we didn't see more
What a awesome sounding horn!
It is!
As for 2116 it has a k3la
Great video my scanner comming in 2 weeks
can the system do march time
What can of camera are you using?? This feels like it was filmed in the 90s. Either way, awesome test!
A Samsung A20 phone
Loud! Not that Continuous L-Series nooooooooo! God I hate that SpectrAlert Assvance, anyways the Simplex alarms are the best things here! Also, Fire Alarm fail at 0:35. And the 4903 at the 0:48 mark seems quite a bit brighter than all the other ones as it must be a 30CD model instead of the abundant 15CD models. And the TrueAlert towards the end of the video, Free Run! 4903-9425, 9426, 9427. Not often do you see a Simplex and System Sensor combo on the same system. Normally it would be System Sensor/Wheelock, or Simplex, possibly more with an EST Combo on the same system. At least this possibly means that the System Sensor alarms are running off of filtered DC. Also, I just subscribed to you.
Thanks!
@@bentheidioticnerd8993This kind of reminds me of the student union at my college just without the System Sensors and they have TrueAlert 4906-9151 Speaker/Strobes, they do also have the 4903 Electromechanicals and Selectable Electronic replacements and Free Run TrueAlerts all in continuous.
Awesome I love it sounds like Simplex 4903-9219s, possibly 9215 and 9217 as well. Glad these are still here and running. Possibly some electronic 4903s here as well
I think there's at least one 9216, but I didn't get that ne on video :(
@@bentheidioticnerd8993I'm pretty sure that's a vertical mounted version alongside the 4903-9218 and 4903-9220. Each of the electromechanical horn strobes has a different candela rating: 9219/9220/9221 is 15CD 9215/9216/9222 is 30CD 9217/9218/9223 is 110CD
