2nd Battle - NCWC 4th of July Reenactment Event at Powerland
This is video of the 2nd Battle, planed with data from the American Civil War between the Union and Confederate Armies. Was reenacted by members of the Northwest Civil War Council at Powerland Heritage Park, just north of Salem, Oregon, USA. There was plenty of action involving the Infantry, Calvary, Artillery, as well as Medical Core and Musicians. Everyone had a good time in spite of the summer afternoon heat, of course with afternoon heat, you get Heat Distortion which makes the video image softer / slight blur. I also had a issue with the tripod head, so on the next battle, fluid head only. The video is still ok, so I posted it. Enjoy.

It is really important to know how to die on the battle field as a civil war re-enactor and do it so: 1. Your death performance on the battle field looks believable and convincing. 2. You die the right way without injuring yourself or other around you. 3. Now that you died, remember to protect yourself and not get sunburned or taking a nap while waiting for the end of the battle. This class cov...

Best fed soldiers ever.

I was at this reenactment!! I was a civilian
Where are you from? You need to come to Resaca Ga in May and setup your display. This is amazing….. Thanks for helping keep history alive……
He's in Washington State, part of the WCWA. :)
Love it the unit I’m in has 2 1841s
I’m sorry, but not one good confederate impression, Union sharpshooters and some of the Union soldiers are looking super decent and nice. Plenty of new research on the confederates on whatever era your portraying, it just looks like the confederates are stuck in the 90s.
Unfortunately, that's the stereotype in Washington Civil War reenacting- cheesy farby Confederates with a few shining exceptions, and the 2nd USSS are always the pinnacle of authenticity and quality lol
I would love to see this!
Love the square dancing!!.. Love the dresses!!
Just love these ladies..
