‘Green Earrings’ was originally released on ‘The Royal Scam’, the fifth studio album by American rock band Steely Dan, released by ABC Records in 1976. The song has been remixed and re-issued on later albums. This cover comes from a live performance from Steely Dan almost twenty years later, on their first of two live albums ‘Alive in America’ released in 1995. The album comprises of recordings from their 1993 and 1994 tours, which were the first live Steely Dan performances since 1974.
