Somewhere along the line Hasbro/Takara decided that everyone wanted their Transformers to look almost exactly like they did on the old G1 cartoon. That's why there's no stickers.

Fantastic figure

If you are finding the transformation on this figure difficult then maybe transformers are not really for you. Given how much the transformation on this figure achieves, it is remarkably smooth and simple. It would be nice if the head could flip into alt mode with a bit less force, but other than that they pretty much knocked this one out of the park. You also have the alt mode transformed incorrectly. The center panel that sits between the shoulders should be level with the roof of the truck (there are pegs on the upper/back edge of the shoulders for it). The leg flaps that form the front surface of the truck bed also need to be squeezed into the thighs more, this will help the cab and bed to sit at 90° to each other.
