What is it
How is the anemone not bothering the coral!
How did you determine getting your ml of kalk to dose to be equivalent to the amount evaporated ?
Hey friend. Haven't seen any videos lately. I hope that everything is going ok with you.👍🏾
Geez try the fl sun v400 it takes maybe 1 hour.
How big is that monti?
Good one!
That anemone on that huge Montipora😅
Nice fix 👍
I had bought the same Cherlam skimmer off amazon because it was the cheapest nano skimmer... It was a complete waste. It buzzed like crazy, and didn't even work to skim. Eventually the blue part got sucked down just like you showed and it killed one of my small fish that got trapped in it just like you predicted. Lesson learned
yup, I tried so many ways to make it work for me. I should return it, but I've had it too long now 🙃
Great progress my friend. 👌💯✌️
Missed your video for a few weeks. Good to see you’re still at it
Very interesting, more people should share minimalist coral reef aquariums. Thanks!
First time seeing something like that the second one def had some good circulating flow in that tank
I completely agree, that little one does not kick up the "dirt" at all.
I was taught that corals want turbulent flow, not flow in one direction. Is that wrong?
A strong laminar flow in an aquarium with anything that is added rock, coral, plants etc... will create eddy's and turbulence. There is strong opinion out there that turbulent flow or even a combination of both is preferable. I "FEEL" most of this stems from marketing however 🙂
Maybe it's just me, but the only sound I was hearing was the sound of the pump chopping up air in it.👍🏾
I don't think my camera's mic picked it up 🙃 "Bad videographer!"🤣
Nice, you're coming up with a real product there if you want to get into making them, I'll buy one.
Thank you, thank you, thank you 🙏
Looks awesome! My vote is still let it rest on the lid 🙂
I'm definitely spinning my wheels on this one, eh...
People like you keep this world spinning!
Thanks!
Keep on a good work!
That led looks much better out of the box. Good job 👍
maybe black box companies will see this and modify so we don't have to.
@@spicyreef Wouldn't that be nice
Subbed
Thanks 🙂
I don’t understand why some are willing to pay $1k for a handful of leds. Thank you for putting this out there 👍
Best wishes from me
Nice, keep posting.
How cool is this channel!
Keep on a good work!
This is a lot like jazz - keep up those harmonic cords.
Great idea, I like how it looks directly on the lid now though.
I think I agree 🙂
All hail the new King of DIY.👑
You're too kind - thanks 🙂
That looks clean! 👍 nice job
That's crazy i did this a year ago with an old light but the light leaked everywhere im interested to see how your's does.
Good to know, thanks for the heads up🙂
Keep on a good work!
Best wishes from me
How cool is this channel!
That looks great 😎
Nice work. saving money on tank you can spend more on coral.
This is a fine coarse into bare bottom 🤣
I've never seen that paint before, cool.
Hey in your opinion what is the best way to cycle a brand new tank ? I have 45 pounds of dry rock and 60 pounds of live sand going in. Is dr tims one and only plus the ammonia a good way ?
Thanks for checking in 🙂 Anything “live” that you can get in there will give you a nice boost head start. The more “dead/dry” substance like the rock will impede the entire tank being “cycled”. You can add corals fairly quick. If you test ammonia every day or use the ammonia monitor, that will help get a feel for when you can add “live stock” But mostly, The BEST method is the one a person understands the most.
@@spicyreef thank you im very nervous tomorrow on my day off im finally going to pick up the natural seawater at a pet store.
@@Coral-reef. make sure to test salinity once your tank is set up, don't add any expensive livestock once it is cycled. good luck, don't hesitate to ask anything 🙂
@@spicyreef thank you so much i actually just received the calibration fluid for the refractometer right now and it is ready to go. Im going to do a quick video on the new aquascape i did for the tank let me know what you think.
The sand is nice ! looks natural
Keep on a good work!
How cool is this channel!
Best wishes from me
Looks like it’s been up and running for a while, how long?
About 4 months now 🙂
I have fresh water fish, I'm glad you're doing this. I always wonder why people have to spend so much on saltwater tanks.
It's all marketing IMHO 🙂
That xenia rock though!
Dude, that sand in the paint is brilliant, I'm going to steal that idea, thanks.
rust-oleum Bleached Stone Textured - turned out better than the sand I first used... 🙂
I have always wanted to try a clam
