That bassist is so underrated

I was there at the very front of the crowd, right on the wall right in front of James Hetfield. My friends and I were at the front of the line at the gate in the early morning too. We camped out for tix at the record store the night before they went on sale & everything. Nothing was going to stop me from going to that concert. When they opened the gates at the Orange Bowl we were at the front of the line waiting w our tickets. We ran across the length of the empty but, quickly filling field & planted our spot as close to the stage as allowed. I was 15 at the time & seeing Metallica live & up close was the most important thing in my life at the time. Being there was the coolest thing I had done at that point, so far in my short 15 years (except maybe losing my virginity a couple weeks prior)- haha! One hell of an awesome month to a 15 yr old! Metallica was in their prime & I felt indestructible. Great memories! Thanks for taking your camcorder to the show, recording it & posting to UA-cam. I'm really surprised I didn't look it up until now! I see you've had it here for many years. 1.5k views, yet very few likes & I'm only the 2nd comment? Crazy! Loved Jason Newstead but Rob Trujillo is on a completely different level , also Rob is alot closer to Cliffs style of playing.

Metallica's first three albums are my favorites from them. Cliff fit better in the dynamic among Metallica and was in my opinion a better sound. The vocals don't beat Hetfield in any way.
