Looks like low octane fuel or contaminants in the fuel.
@@montyrivers1529 was given bad fuel by the company contracting us. Got the tank sucked out and cleaned the whole fuel system and got one engine back going the other blew up

@@montyrivers1529 ya it sucked. Was able to drop a rebuilt engine on and clean the fuel system in less than a day so we back up and running now though. Got a 250 and a 300 now🤣
im very interested in what has of this. im an apprentice for mechanics, this is abnormal right, like not something that could happen over time/wear of something
This was caused by dirty old fuel with water in it as well. Cleaned the whole fuel system all fuel filters including the vst filter in the fuel pump and changed all the injectors and cleaned what I could of the intake manifold from the injector in with turbo cleaner. Them purged my fuel system and sucked what trash I could out of the fuel tank. New fuel and finally got it to start. Unfortunately one engine blew up as well

@@jasonsummer6882 there has been no fire extinguisher action. Whatever this is came through the injectors. Only from injector towards the cylinder

It’s a work boat. I get what boss man buys. We already had bad luck with Suzuki also
Mercurys way more problems than anything with their new outboard. Probably not maintained well. Know heaps of people that get 10,000 plus hours out of their f300 Yamahas with the correct maintenance
@@oscarjames7249 I have seen doing all the maintenance for the last 3 months but before I was in this boat it was poorly maintained also has been getting terrible old and dirty fuel for about 6 months. I think the bad fuel got to it

That's definitely NOT the popcorn ceiling I've painted: It gets wet, it rolls off, a total mess and complete mistake on my part to even attempt to paint. On the bright side, hopefully it all comes off just as easily.
