This scene impacted me more strongly than any piece of fiction ever has. I’ve thought about it a lot and that’s a true statement, it really did affect me more than anything else I’ve ever seen. It was the moment where Shirogane is standing in the doorway and the realization hit me that he knew the truth and was on Ishigami’s side. The emotions that it elicited in me are too strong to put into words, it was instantaneous. I really wish I could capture it, but no matter what words I pick or what order I put them in, they fall short. The best I can do is just to describe the physical effect it had on me. The instant that I knew why Shirogane was there, my heart rate must’ve shot up over 140. I could hear my heart in my ears and feel it vibrating across my back, my chest burned and ached, and I had tears dripping off my face like never before, I didn’t even know it was possible to produce that much tears. I stopped the show after that scene and sat silently in that state for over an hour. It’s very difficult to even admit any of this, it’s very unlike me, but I feel like I need to come to terms with exactly what it is that made that scene break me so badly. I have my suspicions of what caused it, but I want to know for sure. It can’t just simply be that someone willingly chose to be on Ishigami’s side when he needed it most, right? Could it really be that simple? If it’s that simple, why did this scene affect me so strongly compared to other scenes of the same nature? I would really like to find the answers to these questions.

This still breaks my heart. Otomo being bitter and hateful at the sports festival made me sad more than anything. if she had known the whole truth, or at least accepted the fact her boyfriend was terrible, so much would’ve gone differently. she had been so kind and yet…she was nasty when he did nothing but good things for her. i loved how realistic this whole thing was. ishigami is a great character and i’m glad he found his people. i just hate seeing people who are kind become bitter and resentful, especially when someone was trying to help them.

But he once cared deeply for others so when they revealed his backstory it was so shocking. He got betrayed, scared, and suffered. He became depressed and sorrow. It was the president that saved him. That explains why he respect so much. His character went from barely noticeable to extremely open. 😢😢😢

I swear man, that scene got me tears, my respect for Shirogane skyrocketed at that time.
