I'm really curious to know what went wrong to cause the wrap at 2:30; it happens so quickly in the video that it is hard to tell. We've a similarly set up J/111, and experienced the pain of a spinnaker wrap too many times :(

Thanks for a great video. I've been foredeck on a J105 for 12 years now and have a great team with whom we agree to experiment different ideas (including our skipper). We have worked out a great douse (and hoist) process that in the last years has worked to perfection no matter the wind conditions (we have no twists). We have even perfected dousing on the starboard side of the boat and hoisting on the starboard side (with me flicking the spinnaker around the forestay). I would like to imagine that our team work is the reason we recently made 3rd place at the NAs (held in Toronto 2014). We do things a little different to the video you have on line, we don't let out the tack line first , but the rest of the techniques would probably need to be discussed by email.
