Helllo sir , i have tc 5002 siemens type ,
Hi. An old classic.
i have siemens tc 5002, but coffee pot was broken, where i can found that spare part sir?
Hi. Many of the Siemens and Bosch pots are the same. Try to find the part number. I think it is 450856. And take a look in flea-markets and in the classified. Just swap the hardware from your old one to the the new.
I have followed the instructions on descaling and rinsing . The orange light does not stop flashing. Any ideas on what to do now? Solved. I followed your instructions and respected the importance of the complete rinse cycle and bye bye orange light. Your video is the first of many I have watched that helped me. Thank you.
Thank you, and enjoy your fresh coffee machine ☕️
@@kaffipausen Thank you and it is clean as a whistle.
How have you done it?
@@hrantkocharyan691 Remenber to also do the rinsing process. Go to timestamps 3:30 and 4:00😀
Seriously good review. The way you had everything measured out and pointed the flaws out were helpful I probably should've watched this before buying it haha

When I try to make a cappuccino the steam function causes the system to overheat already after a couple of seconds, is that normal? The only thing I did before was running a' empty shot to preheat the portafilter and mug
Hi. If you have not pushed the steam button and the steam switch is in the upward position, the steam function should not interfere when making an espresso. If you have pushed the steam button and the steam switch is in the downward position, it is normally a little water in the steam wand before the steam comes. If you just want hot water from the steam wand. Do not push the steam button, just press the steam switch downwards. Does the steam button flash orange, so you need to decalk the machine?
Hey, thanks for answering so quickly! The work flow I do is as follows: - turn on machine and press one of the buttons to heat it - once hot, run an empty shot through the portafilter to make it hot - press the steam button to prepare the nozzle for steam - start steaming the milk ==> I can't finish this step as the machine overheats after max 10 seconds Looks to me like you should be able to steam for at least half a minute and then run a Puck in the portafilter for the espresso, otherwise how can I ever create a cappuccino :D. Unless there is something wrong ofcourse..
OK. When you turn the machine on, the 1 and 2 cup buttons will flash white while it is warming up. The 1 and 2 cup button will light steady white once warmed up. It should not be necessary to push any buttons aside the on/off button to warm the machine up. When pushing the steam button, it will flash white while it is warming up. The steam button will light steady white once warmed up. First empty the steam wand of water by steaming 2-3 second in an empty glass until it gives steam. Then start steaming. My machine can steam for much longer than 10 seconds. It might be a number of problems. The easy one first. The steam switch/knob have to be all the way down and back until it stops. If it just downwards, it might not engage properly. Secondly there is a microswitch inside the wall of the knob that can go bad, but usually it will not give any steam. Thirdly the punp might be going bad. And the heat block might be going bad. What is the temperature of your espresso shot? If you have hard water, the machine might need a decalk more often. And. you can not start at new espresso shot right after steaming. The machine needs to come down in temperature, either by waiting some minutes or open and purging the steam wand. You need to push the 1 or 2 cup button an open the steam wand until it runs water in an empty glass. Then close the steam wand knob, and you are ready to make a new espresso shot. Good luck with your espresso machine.
Sehr gutes Experiment.
Weiter so. ❤❤
Hey. Vielen Dank für Ihren freundlichen Kommentar
Mine is creating steam istead of dropping water, what am I doing wrong ?
Hi. Don't be discouraged. It is probably a common problem. You are probably not holding the steam button down long enough. If the steam button is not held down long enough, it will produce steam. If the flashing sequence does not start after 5 seconds, try 10 seconds. When you press the steam button, the light on the buttons will go out. Then hold the button until you see the first button start to flash. Then you can release the steam button. The sequence is one cup flashes 2 times, two cups flashes 2 times and the steam button flashes 2 times repetitively. Then swing the steam lever down and press the steam button shortly once more. Remember to have a bowl underneath.
Have you removed the water filter?
Hi. The machines sold in Norway does not have a waterfilter, because we generally have soft water.
@@kaffipausen got ya, thanks for the prompt response
Is that a different basket for pods?
Hi. Yes. There is 3 different baskets that comes with the coffee machine. The most shallow basket is for pods.
Do you do a small hole in the ese pod basket? Mine seems to be sealed shut.
Hi. Thank you for your comment. No, the thin paper on the outside of the coffee puck will let the water through. Enjoy your coffee
@@kaffipausen Thanks man!
I think you did it the opposite way and intentionally. If not you should actually put the ice in the carafe and then brew. Happy brewing
Hi. Thank you for your comment. If I put the ice in the carafe, it would not be blooming the coffee. A little bit of an experiment for entertainment. I will make iced coffee another time. Enjoy your coffee 😀

Oh so, this is a Drip coffee maker which is nothing but an automatic pour over maker.
Yes, kind of
@@kaffipausen do you own v60 or some other dripper how does it compare?
@@pushinp275 I do not own av V60 at the moment. The difference is mainly in the shape of the filter holders and filters, though Melitta and V60 both have a 60 degree V-shape. The V60 have an open bottom that the filter protrudes through, where the Melitta have small holes in the bottom. Hario V60, Melitta, Kalita and Chemex have their own followers. The V60 is clearly popular with coffee aficionados. I will not pick a winner. Only you can taste and decide. And that is what is fun with the coffee journey 😀
Never heard of this brand. Looks similar to a kalita 🤔
Hi. Thank you for your comment. Melitta is German company. According to Wikipedia, Melitta Bentz was a German entrepreneur who invented the paper coffee filter in 1908. She founded the company Melitta. Melitta is probably more known than Kalita in Europe. Kalita is a Japanese company established at Nihonbashi, Tokyo 1958. Both makes hand drip coffee makers and other coffee equipment.
@@kaffipausen Oh. That makes sense, thanks. I saw your other video the brewer looks quite different are they attachments for the pour over?
This kind of the predecessor of modern electric coffee makers, but it is still used today.

I did it like this the whole tank then realised I was doing it wrong. This is a lovely looking machine
Thanks. I like the design and bought it new many years ago.
Hello... can you help me in regards how to clean it up the right way.
Hi. Generally it is the same procedure as for other drip coffee makers. The best is to buy a bottle of coffee cleaning fluid and follow the instructions on the bottle. It is usually not that expensive. The thermo carafe can be cleaned with water and vinegar 1:1. Rinse with clean water. Clean it on the outside with a damp cloth. The filter holder is the only part that can be taken out and washes by hand in the sink. Do not use the dishwasher. DO NOT submerge the coffee machine or thermo carafe in water. The aluminium on the outside of the carafe is glued to the plastic, and water can dissolve the glue. Water can also compromise the air pocket i thermo carafe. I have made some other videos on cleaning old coffee machines. I hope you will enjoy a clean cup of coffee soon.
I have just baught this machine and i am quite pleased with the espresso it makes( freddo mostly). I am curious about these pods, are they any good? Do they taste like common nespresso/ dolce gusto pods?
Hi and congratulations on your new coffee machine. Everyones taste is different. A box of pods are quite cheap, so try a box that you fancy. Its also great to have in a pinch 😀

Hi. I'm happy to help. Thanks for watching 😀
Hello mister @Kaffipausen, i just got this machine and i don't know how much coffee should i put to make just one cup ? Can u please give me some tips for how to use it properly? And i also have a reusable coffee filter that came with it, is it enough without using paper filter? Thanks man and keep posting cool videos, Cheers ;)
Hi. One cup is a to small quantity. A drip coffeemaker is usually used to make a full pot. Making just 1 cup is more difficult. But, you can use the 2-4 cup button to make 2 cups. 1 cups is 125 ml, so 2 cups is 250 ml. Usually the recommended amount is 7 grams per cup. But for1- 2 cups I would start with 375 ml of water and about 21 grams of medium ground coffee. Experiment to get it to your taste. A reusable coffee filter should be used without a paper filter, but you have to keep it clean. If you just want one cup, I would recommend The Moccamaster Cup-One drip coffeemaker. Enjoy your coffee.
omori reference???????
Espresso and orange juice is much older than "omori", so it is probably the other way around. According to Honest & Rare, it is believed that the drink became popular in the 1950s when Brazil had a coffee surplus and the government promoted the consumption of orange juice to boost the citrus industry.
@@kaffipausen its an omori reference because in the game one of the characters likes a drink called orange joe, and its like orange juice with lots of caffeine, basically this :3
I just bought one for 20 dollars that needed descaling, the owner was a girl who thought it was broken LOL, I just descaled it and I'm enjoying a nice hot cappuccino!
