Yes it is. This is my gold standard for pirate games and i will compare every other game in the genre to this. We really need a new amazing pirate game in this style. But with top of the line visuals and realism coupled with a living breathing open world/sea of course set the caribbean and the the indian ocean(UBISOFT!)

the fact that the mod team over all has been quite is odd they usually still provide updates of some kind maybe because there is nothing to report as of yet raf taking time off is completely understandable and good on him for doing so your health and well bling is more important. i don't think multiplayer should be the priority just my two cents

A long long time ago now, I was hanging out with my Sisters BF who is now my Brother in Law and we were playing this game. I was just a young guy maybe 11 and he was 19-20 at this time; I remember he was so cheese at whatever game he played that as soon as the opening cinematic was done (the one with the French First Rate coming in to wreak havoc) he turned the ship around, went straight back to the Port (Port Royal I want to say?) and proceeded to board and capture the First Rate. Literally before the starting quest was even done he had the biggest Ship in the entire game.

Imagine a battle royale with tripods, you'd have to deal with players while avoiding tripods, for me would be awesome, would be a very creative idea for a battle royale, there's nothing like this on the market

I backed $100 around a year or so ago and still plwdge $1 every month since then, even though the games is a bit broken and unfinished i had a ton of fun pretending to be a survivor of the world of WotW i hope this game makes it through because in my opinion its a rough Gem thats has crazy potential, just wish i could play it with friends onw day, my favorite part is the big boom mid game

I can confirm Raf is working on the multiplayer. It is coming along very well, and that he is also working on improving the day/night cycle

The game is following the exact same script that all other indie projects like this have had. A game that's developer purely as CV showcase for the people involved until they get scouted by an actual studio, and then suddenly the projects gets cancelled cause "someone got sick" or "the developer needs time for themselves", and of course they never ever released anything to the public and only had super private builds for abhorent amounts of money. This game was a nice dream, but it was only a dream.
