Homemade Flat bed camper build, 2nd gen Tacoma. Part #1
For the last year I have been building my 2009 Tacoma into a overland rig, that is also my house. I had a pretty alright set up, but I wanted more space then the normal truck bed could offer, so I cut it off and made this. Stay tuned if you want to see the rest of this build come to life.

Still waiting for part 2
Where is the part 2 😭
How long did this take ya
Finished product?
Interesting that Tacoma has open frame in crossection while Hilux has closed frame and only few tens of centimeters at the end are open
No part 2?
Part 2? Like it so far!! Im getting ideas to start on my 2nd gen welding rig build.
Sick! Thanks for sharing this! I’m building a wooden camper on my Tacoma right now, but the entire process I’ve been thinking that I want to make a flat bed camper for my next build. This video has been the most helpful one so far in my research!
Why the fuck do you have sketchy little round tube holding your whole bed up?? Like just use solid stock or square tube hello???
awsome build man. Looking to do something similar to my 2nd gen
You are cool. I am proud of you. I laughed at the funny parts.
What funny parts? This was 100% serious!
Do you have some cool sketch up drawings?
Why isn’t Trevor welding with a mask??? Nor gloves??
I was wondering the exact same thing 😅😅
I was really inspired by the first scene of you smashing all your tack welds apart. Makes me want to smash some stuff too. You’re an influencer!
Looks great so far!
