Wow this is such a gem. Can’t believe they cast these famous actresses. The original cloud and the remake cloud were both excellent performers also. Didn’t know Rachael Leigh Cook (from She’s All That) played Tifa and Mena Suvari (from American Pie) played Aerith!

This is why I like Snake in 1 the best. He banters with the villains and gets snarky, sarcastic, or respectful at times. Raiden isn't like that, and BB in 3 is boring, always keeping quiet while letting the villains do the talking.

You didn't mess it up Steve. You've always been a perfect sounding Cloud. The Dialogue the English Localization gave you and the rest of the cast hasn't always been great, but that's not yours, or any of the other actor's fault. Having to match the mouth movements from the Japanese version didn't help either. Steve would've CRUSHED it in Remake if they didn't fire him and the rest of the cast last minute. George is still, and will always be, the best English voice for Sephiroth too.

This whole game is just made so much better when MGS2 reminds you early on that vr training wouldn’t save Raiden in any situation, especially in reference to Shadow Moses. Solid Snake lived because he fought like hell to survive.
