I watched your first video of how you made your tail and I’m wanting to make my own (btw yours was absolutely beautiful) is there any additional tips like would you add anything to make it easier to swim in if you were to make another one or any painting tips?
thank you! honestly, I think the only thing I've thought of that I'd change is, I might try Dying the base fabric the lightest color you intend on painting. Because over time the places that get a little extra wear and tear the white has started to show through the paint a bit! But it's really not that noticable.

What did you use for the ornament
Not sure I know what you mean by 'Ornament'. if it's the gold decor lining the edges of each piece, that's hot glue with a metallic acrylic paint on top!

Oh, this video was super helpful. I've been wanting to make and paint my own tail, because I've found it hard to find a maker who can do the type of style I want. Seeing how good this looks, and also getting some meassurements to base my own on really inspired me to take the plunge into making my own. It'll still be a while, since I'd need to save up quite a bit, but now I'm certain it will happen eventually :)

What are those clouds on the wall , is that a special light or wallpaper ????
those are the lights in my bedroom! my partner and I hung up a horseshoe shape of led bar lights, sprayed glue on long sheets of butcher paper, attached pillow stuffing for the clouds, and then hung the paper and clouds up underneath the lights! I love them
