It's never been audible for me, but it was always unmistakably Him because what He spoke to my heart was the "come now, let us reason together" kind of fog-lifting, wisdom and sense-injecting, life-giving, truth-telling, or comforting word I was needing but sorely lacking on my own. When I was hurt by another believer and wanted to indulge in self-pity and self-righteous indignation ("even my Christian friends would say I had a right to be angry!"), for example, He kindly but firmly reminded me about how He's called me to give up my rights and led me to humble myself and forgive as I'd been forgiven. That did not come from me: it was not my mindset at all, and He brought scripture to mind that I was not considering. But it was also not some new, extra-biblical revelation; it was a John 14 Paraclete moment. The only kind that is worthy of our taking note and heeding. Because let's not forget Paul's warning in Galatians 1, after all, or that the Bible itself tells us His revelation is complete and the warnings accompanying any attempts to add to it. The Holy Spirit won't give us a new word when He helps us, He will remind us of Truth that's already been revealed and help us apply it correctly.

God certainly orchestrated that the UA-cam algorithm would put this video in my line of sight. I've recently been laid off for what feels like the millionth time. Being unemployed for any length of time can be very discouraging. But you reminded me that God is always working behind the scenes to orchestrate next steps for us. He's always working.. even when I'm not. 😂

I’ve always really enjoyed listening to Pastor John. I’ve been listening to him from the beginning of daily Hope. It’s just like a morning cuppa coffee, except you are waking up your soul. 😃.

I feel our leaders turned their backs on the American people. The office that is the highest in the nation. Most respected by other nations. Our leaders let an individual accused of rape, sexual assault. adulterer, felon, racist. Run for the most covenant office in the world. They should have protected the office of President. But they let this man dictate their decisions. He’s not a man of God. Not a man of the people. God have mercy on the future of this country 🙏🏽🇺🇸💙🇺🇦🌎🏳️‍🌈
