I laughed so hard when you said, "And then turn around and walk away" after you gave that lengthy explanation of how to find the Magical Shuttle! It reminded me of when we walked forever and ever from our gate at Charles de Gaulle to get the RER train into Paris and then the train was so filthy and crowded and awful. When we do go back to go to Disneyland Paris, I'll definitely take your advice and go by car.
