Ferry from Moruya to Canberra to drop a mate off. This cross country trip had been done in similar circumstances, and was conducted to expand my personal minimums in the RV-8. Overall a gorgeous trip home in the basking sunset.

First recorded cross country, video cut as battery would not record the entire trip. Totalling 2.5hrs the route followed was: YSCB - MHGO - YCOM - YJIN - _YMER_ - YMRY - CAPT - _YSCB_ Goal of flight was to sight see the snow across Perisher and then spy some coastal scenery.

Second aerobatics session expanding my envelope. Goal for this session was to practice past amnouvers on a competition line referencing the road, start with some sequences, and introduce the 4 point roll and the cuban. Ive included the departure, a little tour of the local dam, and arrival.

No, I think it was more to allow for office buildings to be built to the north of the threshold
Hmm, at certain engine RPMs it looks like either the prop takes different amounts of time for the first 180° compared to the second 180°, or your camera is rapidly alternating between two different frame rates. Though if the original footage wasn't 24fps like it is here, then never mind, it's probably frame rate conversion shenanigans. :P
Hahaha what a good spot, yes the video is captured in 60fps but exported in 24fps

You need to get a few GoPros. Suction mount on my RV 4 wingtip good for 150 knots at 8.5K.
