Handle bars, I swapped them out for a set of motocross bars in black mainly for looks but also a little wider. Also exhaust is tec 2 in 1, k&n air filter. Chopped rear mudguard down. Changed all the indicators and changed rear light too. Want some different tyres next like scramblers style maybe a 50/50 road/off road mix. Do you also have RE inty

@@meladventures i do, full stock for now. my only issue is that between 3k and 4k rpm the handlebar wobbles up and down, a bit annoying. so i am staying over 4k to avoid that. Not sure if is just vibrations, tyres or suspensions. did you experience any of that?

No, never had any of the vibrations, are they tight ? Changing the exhaust is a massive weigh saving too

Hi, it's a tec 2 into 1, baffle out

​@meladventures I thought I read somewhere that if you remove the baffle on the 2-1 exhaust, it can make the bike run too hot. Do you know anything about that? I have a 2020 Interceptor 650, and want to do similar mods as you have done, esp the bars. Mine are stock now, but I do have the tec 2-1 and bar end mirrors.

@benwilliamsen6938 hi, no not heard about running too hot without baffle, but to be fair I don't always have the baffle out, I often ride with the baffle in to spare the neighbours. Also I would have thought it would run cooler as the hot exhaust gases can escape quicker 🤷. The bars on mine are just motocross bars and I had to buy new risers to accommodate the bars, gives a good scrambler feel to the riding position. Are you going for a particular style ?

To be honest it's not that loud because it still has the cat and bread bin, I have bought a link pipe which will do away with the bread bin and hopefully make it sound better, might bump into each at some point at a meet I'm sure.

I think the cabellaro looks better, but i think i prefer the practicalities of the cb500x, ie wind protection, more power, better fuel efficiency. So for me the cb wins.

Hi mike, i bought the bike with them already fitted luckily, but they really are spot on, it allows you to ride through winter in a bit more comfort i think.

Thank you for replying. I will probably fit a pair myself and hope the bar ends come off easily. Not sure how you get on with wind buffering but I bought a visor extender off Amazon and it works a treat for me. It want expensive either. I am also thinking of fitting a gear indicator. They look easy to fit it’s no complicated wiring just a plug and play into your diagnostic socket under the seat.

That's onething I do wish I had, a gear indicator, I'm always going for the none existence 7th gear. When I fitted my hand guards the bar ends came off really easy to be fair. Let me know how you get on with the gear indicator if you fit one.

That’s good news about the bar ends. I am always looking for that 7th gear same as you. Just bought a gear indicator from AliExpress cost £17. Takes 10 days to arrive in UK from China, I will let you know how I get on fitting it. If it works ok I will send you the link.
