Thanks for continuing to put out content while things are so crazy, hope you all continue to stay safe! I thought Hell's Kitchen made for interesting content because it's the one that got me into cooking challenge TV way back when, everything about it just seems normal to me so it's fun to hear takes on it from folks who haven't watched it for years.

This season of Hells kitchen is my first season watching and i also have NO idea who the other chefs are even though i've watched the whole season so far. I get the feeling that they are on every season as sort of known background characters, but they don't really bother to introduce them. The santa claus bit was completely baffling lol.

Since you're talking about covering shows like chopped - Maybe y'all can cover 24 In 24: Last Chef Standing on Max! it's fairly new and I think it would work well with your format! It's a cooking competition where actual well known chefs are competing. It takes place over the course of 24 hours with no breaks, but is split into 8 episodes. There's 24 chefs competing so the draft would be split evenly and they're all introduced one at a time so you'd be able to know of their background before the real competition begins! It was so much fun to watch if you havent already!

This season I've taken your advice and am allowing players to draft competitors twice, allowing for us to have teams of 4 instead of teams of 2. Hopefully this should stop an omega Dylan from running away with the whole thing and make this season more competitive for my group

Hello! I am rose from the junior bake off!! I am gluten free (and a little offended to be completely honest with you.) but I still make really nice things even if I can’t eat them! I have been sent this through a friend and was so excited to see it but you have been really rude to all of my friends and me quite frankly. Just because we are now on the tv it doesn’t mean that you can just be horrible to children who may watch this (like me) Please have more empathy - this really hurt my feelings.

This is such a fun episode already, I'm calling Linda to take it all!! Based on vibes all the way and she is a cookie grandma for sure 👵

Gill was the last baker on my team, so this episode I was able to lean back and relax a bit without thinking about points. I ended with 27 points

I shrieked (in my heart) when you said y'all are going to cover some GBBO specials next! So happy to know I don't have to say goodbye any time soon.

Had to take a week off due to schedule conflicts with my group, but now having seen last week's episode... There's no way for the last episode to change our standings. Dylan has an many points on his own as the second place team in our league

Do you all not list the collected points each contestant garnered each episode? (Partner and I JUST started watching this season GBBO and listening to your cast, and tried to make our own team but can't follow along the point counting... would REALLY love seeing a list or something of each contestant's points for the episode!) :(

Finally on the board since Gil decided to score this week! With Mike gone our 2nd place team (Mike and John) is eliminated, I still have a long way to catch up, but that's one less person making gains while I'm stuck in the mud. Just need Gill to become a mid season sleeper now, a star baker performance would be great to see

While Alison's comforting her during the Showstopper, Illiyin touches the corners of her eyes in a way that's pretty indicative of crying imo. And you can hear it in her voice.

Fun discussion as always. I enjoyed how the suprise at "where's the hole?" not being commented on was followed up shortly by a straightfaced discussion on whether someone has big cans :v

Re: fear of swans, I absolutely get it. Swans are AGGRESSIVE if you accidentally get close to a nest where they have chicks, and I think a 25 pound bird with a seven foot wingspan all puffed up and hissing loudly at you is a very reasonable thing to be afraid of! Geese are bigger jerks in my opinion, but I’m still not gonna piss off a swan, yknow? There’s an old myth that they could break a human’s arm if they tried, but scientifically I don’t think that holds up. They have been seen winning fights against foxes and coyotes, though.

The baking engineering show is Baking Impossible, judged by previous GBBO finalist Andrew Smyth! his bakes during his time on the show often involved functional moving parts.

Hi again! 👋🏽 Hate to be the guy who harps on ONE (1) particular rule, but in your Week 0 ep you mentioned that hugs count as emotional help. So do the people who hugged Andy after the Technical get helper points, or does it not count bc they didn't take time away from their own bakes to provide said help? Also, Illiyin says "My hands are shaking now" after the five-minute time call near the end of the Technical. Thanks! Sorry!

Hi guys! I have been listening to this season on Apple podcasts and wanted to get the video for this episode. Unfortunately the audio on this video has an underlying hissing sound that is impossible to ignore. Could be something to improve on future videos.

going off of what Ify said - I don't know about any Top Chef/Master Chef contestant crossover, but I have seen a lot of Masterchef competitors on Chopped! And I've seen Master Chef season 10's Noah Sims on the food yt channel Jolly! He's doing very cool things now. Just some random food competition lore I have stored in my brain apparently lol
