@@lordthunderpork thank you! Yes the intensity was a big draw in the first place! It actually makes you scared of spiders, squids, and dark caves that are only 20 blocks deep 😅 much different to vanilla!

Thank you! Yes, it’s interesting and really focuses on early game survival. I died several times before finding a seed that worked! I liked the look of it after Mudflaps video last year, although it’s been around for ages. It’s a fun diversion from vanilla!

@ it grants you the advancement as long as you have started at world height and fall past a certain distance at the bottom of the world without dying. It worked the same as your except when I hit that threshold I just kept on falling

@@ironmanveronika6407 hey IV, really good to see you watching and commenting. First of all, I’m glad you enjoyed the video and liked my interpretation of your cathedral. I know it’s different in many ways, but I also tried to make it as authentic as possible. I understand that you had a very strict set of rules to follow, based in real life, for the choices you made (eg the loft area being empty). It works well for your build, no question. I wanted my version to be a bit more aesthetic and functional, but yes o agree it’s not realistic when it comes to gothic architecture. I also appreciate the criticisms of the build in some areas, such as the altar. I did take the occasional shortcut during the build process simply because it was such a big project! And I’m sure your estimate of the block count is more realistic than mine, I was using rough numbers (but also included all of the decoration blocks I used later). And yes, I ran out of steam at the very end and decided to leave the End portal renovation for a future project. This world is intended to run for a very long time - maybe as long as I am still able to play the game. My dream has always been to build up a long-term world with lots of history. Agreed about the block palette and I’m sure if you remade it now you’d have many more choices to use. There has been so much added to the game in the past few years. Overall, I’m just so pleased that you found some joy watching the video and seeing people in the community wanting to replicate your builds. I can understand how excited that would make you feel! I’m sure many people have done this, but not everyone is in a position to make a video about it :( if you want to add this to your playlist or highlight it in any other way on your channel, that’s absolutely fine. It would be an honor to have you share my video! Keep on building amazing churches! I may want to make a new one somewhere else in my world!

I’d say there is no doubt. I don’t deal with artists or those in the humanities very often, but I know the field is fluid and the term ‘art’ is so broad that what we do has to qualify under most definitions!
