So grateful to be back on the bike after a 3 month break due to a non bike related injury. I got a SLAP tear in my shoulder. Come for a ride with us and see if my physical therapist's handy work held up..

Freezetivus 2024

Freezetivus is a mutst-do event if you live near Franklin Falls in New Hampshire. Or even if you don't live too close, you can tack it onto the Winter Wooley over at Highland bike park and make a weekend of fun in the snow. We had a great time and hope to be back again! This video has us on our Trek Farleys without studs, which we learn quickly that we'l need next time. And I demo a Rocky Mount...
Winter Woolly 2024 Highland Bike Park
Переглядів 1159 місяців тому
Highland Bike Park hosts the Winter Woolly lift-served DH Mountain biking event every year in New Hampshire. This is a Fat Bike only event, and if you don't own one, you can rent one. The event brings out tons of riders from all around. We've never seen so many fat bikes in one place before. Having studded tires will be a plus.. we found this out the hard way. But we'll be back again to ride ev...

Stephen's State Park Back Country Loop is only 7 miles long, but there's enough elevation to make it worth a few hour drive to ride. We'll definitely be back!
West Mountain Bike Park New York

There are TONS of places to ride in Vermont and upstate New York. I'm trying to check them all out. This footage is from 2022, so it's not 4k, and I'm still getting used to the GT Fury Pro, but in 2024 we won't have to listen to the sram brakes because I just got Shimano Saints installed.
Bolton Valley MTB Park Vermont

About an hour and a half north of Killington you'll find a bike park called Bolton Valley MTB Park. The park is known for technical black runs. This footage is from 2022, so when you get there, you'll likely see there are now more trails to ride of the blue persuasion. They were doing lots of trail work at the time this was shot, so I look forward to going back up to see what's what.
Gore MTB Park is Pretty Sweet!
Переглядів 72810 місяців тому
Gore Mountain Bike Park is in upstate New York. It's a bit of a hike if you're not from the area, but if you like technical natural trails that go on forever - this place may be worth the drive to you. Come check it out with me now!
Last DH ride of the season at Thunder Mountain Bike Park!
Переглядів 241Рік тому
Thunder Mountain Bike Park in Charlemont Massachusetts is one of our favorite places to Downhill Mountain Bike on the East Coast. This was our 4th time out there and it's getting better each time we visit. You can pay to camp on the mountain, but when it's cold like it was this past weekend- you can also try the Warfield House Inn across the way. Check out our ride for more info!
MTB Mont St Anne Quebec CX

This was our first ride in Quebec. It had been raining a good bit, so the downhill trails at the bottom were not open yet, so.. cross-country it was! Check out our video on the DH portion already posted to the channel! Thanks for watchin'!
Empire47 Quebec
Переглядів 94Рік тому
Empire 47 in Quebec was a "must ride' stop on our Canada Mountain biking trip this summer. Especially since its very existence is being challenged by the province. It was a lot of fun, but I think another day of riding there would've been great. We found navigating in a place where our language was not the first language - to be difficult. It's really challenging to understand the easiest way u...
MTB Black Rock Oregon

Black Rock Bike Park was fun. It was raining a lot so the wooden features were slippy, but you'll see most of Bonsai and some of Sicker gnar here. This place has a ton of climbing and a bunch of fun descents. probably not for beginners. Check it out!

hey girls
hope you are feeling stronger
I rode this system for 7 yrs many times a week. Left the area in ‘06. Cannot for the life of me recognize where that initial parking lot is. Is it at the end of the rail trail? Loved riding here! Got me in great shape!
honestly the parking situation here was bonkers. I think I parked in the "official lot" once a space opened up, but it said you needed a permit if I remember right.. but ya - it was a neat ride up there on the ledge like that!
I rode near Bennett Camp ground a 16 mile loop. Challenging for sure and there were a few times where I questioned my life decision. Probably not the best life choice either doing this at 97 degrees weather. BUT It was beautiful!
hahaha the sun is relentless out there for sure!
Ore-i-gone. 🤣
Right, no hate at all, but you can definitely tell when people are from out of state 😂
girls do you read comments?
I am moving to Chester from Asheville in a few weeks thus, I am grateful for your content. Cheers!
Whiteface was the place to being you wanted technical riding, back when Mike and Elias ran it
I remember that. Whiteface was sick. Gore has epic terrain too, I am a local, we have some hidden gems!
Great video! We are going there tomorrow and I want to get a feel for the place. I was there a very long time ago and don't remember the trails.
@@JubeProductions how was it?!
@@veconsports7650 I had a good time. I don't really know the trails so it was hard getting a good loop. There were a ton of trees down too. I kept thinking about bears though 😂
@@JubeProductions hahah bears get my brain a lot too
@@veconsports7650 I came right in between a momma bear and her cubs on a trail at Mtn Creek one time. It was a really scary situation.
So glad to see real terrain the way trails used to be , not paved interstates with annoying jumps designed by morons. Great video can’t wait to shred there now. 👍
When you pull in, where is the boat rental
I’m in Omaha and have thought about camping and riding there. Thanks for posting
Headed out there tomorrow. Great video.
As a trail maintenance volunteer at Patapsco, it is great to see folks enjoying themselves while staying on the trail and being responsible. Please report trail hazards like fallen trees to the park staff so we can get those taken care of.
Heh!heh!
Great video! I love riding these trails
Awesome video should come ride with us we r in Jersey too great video
Great trip!
Glad I watched this. This looked kinda miserable lol
That trail is a bit too much for my bike! Are there smoother trails there? I am thinking there are.
Could you put/fit the Camlbak bag into the Evoc?
i dont have either bag anymore, but i dont see why not. you may need to reduce the amount of water though
Are we allowed to just go off up that road whenever we want? No regulations against it?
Hello
i wish you would answer comments......lol
Don't think I ever saw you folks ride bikes on snow. Glad you're both OK. And that you had fun! Happy Valentine's Day.
Which lot did you girls park in?
on the street near that main gate you see us going through in the beginning.
looks like Kinney Road to me...
Wish I could ride all over that's a cool bike chick
i didn't know west mountain had bike trails... i live in Cohoes what a short drive for me...gonna try them out in 2024...see you out there..thanks for the video
Have fun!
What type of bike are you riding, and what size wheel?
i am very new to this ...i drive a Salsa Blackthorne with 29.5 wheels....how do you feel about wearing neck protection?
29 inch wheels
i like the brake sound.......tells me how you're articulating down the trail.....
OoOo windmill is so close 😮
5:14 ......nice bike
show me your bike, please......i like looking at what riders are riding, thanks
good for little kids and families?
You have the wrong bikes for this. Full suspension is for downhilling. You really need a hard tail. Oh livestock means cow shit. Yeah that is the same everywhere/ :)
Although I have ridden it twice for over 230 miles on a hardtail, most people actually ride this trail on full suspension. Most of the people who race it ride full suspension as well.
That was the long way around to get to the top. 🙂 Most people go up the front (Montez Ravage) get to Super G as fast as possible. Slab City is my fav. The rock is so sticky I have ridden it in a light rain. You will find in Quebec that the blue label means everything can be rolled. Whereas Black has drops and/or gaps. Saying that some of the rolls are big.
Yes! We hv to go back. That was a seriously long climb to get up the way we went. :-/
Did you do Mirador and/or Karmasutrail? I really want to do Mirador as a Fatbike run.
Yes karmasutrail was great!
Thunder is our home MTN and I couldn't agree more on how well they maintain it. Also that pizza spot is pretty amazing... If you haven't tried it yet the Chocolate Milk over at the Cold River is pretty awesome too. 😂
Those were women trails bro grow a set of balls and hit some jumps that was lame AF.l
Windham closed so thunder mountain is my go to bike park....thanks for the vid
Really? We loved windham!
Yes the same for me now. My sister moved to Schenectady in March 2023 so I used it as a base. Had a seasons pass for Windham and now a 2024 pass for Thunder instead. Did the last 3 days at Thunder for the closing. Rode a few other places with the DH passes in the VMBA membership. 2024 have plans to be mostly be down south and may for the first time miss the yearly Quebec City journey. You will want to visit Mont SM in Shawinigan (Black Slabbath and Old School rock!) plus Mont Sainte Marie northeast of Ottawa to ride Boneshaker. But both are like E47, pedal up. My other new fav of course is Wheelerville, NY, that place is AWESOME
@@michaeltiffe6341 thanks for all the recommendattions!
I'm done with sram brakes.. great job 👍
They suck! Thanks ha
It's amazing to see how far you've come with your riding skills! Once again thanks for sharing!
Oh man thanks so much!
Nice view off that deck!
Most beginner friendly and boring ski resort I have seen.
lol seven springs has the best parks in pa
Thanks for the tour, gonna have to go check that out probably next spring.
Or Gone? WTF? That aside, BR is great, I'm friends with one of the original founders. Pitty you missed Alsea, that place is a gem. However, get down to Ashland and shuttle Time Warp. It's worth the trip.
That place looks like a blast! Great video and voiceover 👍
Your riding keeps getting better and better! Super flowy place!
Thanks yes flow to the max!!
What trail is that at the 5:00 mark?
Ty roll
That town is so cute ☺️
Can see why you loved it!!
