Hello Heike😀 So lovely to hear from you! I totally understand what you are saying about the grooming commitment. I spend over an hour each day grooming both Bilbo and Strider and as I know you appreciate every time we come back from a walk they both need to be cleaned and it all takes a lot of time! Like you, I am sure there will come a time when I will opt for a short coated dog, but they will be as precious to me as all the dogs we have lived with whatever breed, multi-pedigree or cross-breed they may be just as Whoopy is to you. I love all dogs and think it is such a privilege to share our lives with another species.🥰. Always lovely to hear from you and your lovely and kind comments are so appreciated!😍

Thank you for watching and your lovely comment about Bilbo! He certainly is a character and such a joy who live with! That’s brilliant you rescued your Bearded Collie. He’s lucky to have found you! So sorry to hear that his coat was in a terrible state and he has immune problems - when we rescued Bilbo he was very badly matted and had been very badly let down by his previous owners - they accused him of all sorts of behaviourial problems!🥲 Nothing at all wrong with him just let down by humans!😒 I had to trim him back a lot and he loves being groomed now.☺️

@BilbotheBeardedCollie Bilbo certainly landed on his feet in your home . You have some beautiful countryside for walks there. It's evident you take great care of your dogs. Thank you ! Shiloh hates having his feet touched most of all. We just got through with a groom. He was a neglect case even after his bad start at a puppy farm. He had been abducted from there by a guy that chained him in the yard. His entire back end was welded together..legs and tail. Thankfully he is learning how to *Dog* via my terrier mix . I hope that some of his sensitivities may reduce a bit with love and care. May l ask what diet you feed your dogs ? Unfortunately we get pancreatic flare up's at times . The person that passed Shiloh onto me neglected to tell me of it. I treat him with homeopathic treatments as much l can. Have a great rest of your week.!

That is really kind what you said about Bilbo’s life with us. We feel so lucky to share our lives with both Bilbo and Strider. Oh poor Shiloh - what an appalling life he has had until having the good fortune to find you. How can anyone treat an animal like that! Any animal cruelty upsets me so much😢 You are obviously doing amazingly well with Shiloh and he is now living the life he truly deserves! Bless him, Bilbo was scared of his paws being touched, but we eventually got over that and not being happy about grooming etc with following the very kind method by Jan Fennell, the International Dog Listener.😍 Of course, very happy to share what we feed our dogs - it’s a cold pressed food - the brand name is Gentle Dog Food. Beate who runs the company is incredibly helpful and will advise what is the best food for your dog’s condition. Good evening. Indeed, poor boy has definitely been through a lot. He is such a smart lad and picks new things up very quickly. Our walks take rather a long time as he is a big time sniffer. I guess he is gathering Intel on all the local pooches via what is known as the pee mails.😂 He returns many of them too ! Thank you so much for the helpful recommendations. 😊Yes, it is a cave. There are many caves on the Devon coastline which meant it was a smugglers’ paradise centuries ago. Good to have your positive feedback that the beach was your favourite part😍 - (I nearly didn’t include it!). The tide and light was just perfect to do the filming. Luna is so lucky to share her life with you. Bilbo is our third Bearded Collie. After losing Lexie, our first Bearded Collie, we decided to go down the rescue route and get a new friend for Strider and along came Bilbo! The rest is history. I am in awe of their agility!
