Una pregunta qué tipo de paracaídas balístico llevas y como lo tienes instalado, tengo un S12 y necesitaría ayuda, consejo y guía de alguien que ya tenga uno colocado en el mismo modelo. Muchas gracias y tremenda pericia la tuya para aterrizar sin motor, que ese avión es como un ladrillo

Bueno, les falla a los 2 minutos de despegue. No es durante el despegue. Y nos es una parada total. Con esa altura es correcto intentar volver a la pista.

Habría que ver qué entienden ellos por falla de motor en despegue, pq de eso más bien nada. Me da q estaba preparado.

La falla no fue en el despegue ,que es cuando se necesita toda la potencia del motor..tuvieron suerte de tomar altura.

Le falló el motor mucho después del despegue. Si hubiera sido durante el despegue, no la cuentan, ya llevaban una altura considerable.

Some of you folks have asked " if he had a tail would he have done that?" in short, no. BUT... he would have stalled and at that height he would not have had sufficient time to recover. The end result would likely have been fatal too. In Canada loops in trikes are illegal and for good reason, they are not rated for aerobatics. One person said that trikes are not G rated for stalls and loops, that's not correct, most trike wings are rated for at least 6 G's and many as high as 9 G's until failure. I assure you 6 G's is a hell of a lot of force! if you cant do the Hick maneuver at 6 G's you will pass out. Today wings are being made at Northwing to handle the weight of an SUV loaded on them. I've seen it with my own eyes. They suspend the wing upside down from the ceiling and load it full of been bags full of lead shot. These new wings are tough, very tough! That said, a trike is not a bi plane or a fighter plane, it's a trike and meant to be flown and enjoyed safely. If you do foolish stuff, you will be severely penalized.

Fairly sure that is a Wizard wing on that trike. Have one on mine. You cannot fly a trike wing past 60 deg angle of bank. They will not take any negative G - they collapse. What prevented recovery was the way the trike acted like a swinging pendulum under the wing. It wouldn't allow the wing to get an airflow over it to start flying. Would have killed the pilot.

I said my friend crashed on his first flight. He didn't die.Just destroyed 800 hours worth of tedious work. It is obvious to me that you recently obtained your pilot license and now feel you are an expert in the field. I have over 1200 hours in ultralights and over 600 in general aviation aircraft and I am NOT an expert. Again, they fly different from each other. By the way, what does flying in gusty conditions have to do with ANYTHING? My disagreement is in your smugness.
