Gracias por la belleza!!!!
Jessy is a very wise soul...and easy on the eyes 😍😍😍
Amazing - Wishing you all the best on your new product line!
The level of customizable that's available is extraordinary. This is a game-changer for those playing with carbon fiber bows.
Yes!!! It absolutely is un-heard-of! Designing your bow to the level of a master bow maker!!
These guys are so fun to watch and listen to.
That's the Prelude from Bach's 1st Cello Suite. I heard that one played on Violoncello da Spalla which is alot smaller than a normal Cello.
They're amazing
Roll in with the bass, and out with the cello. I like it!
Some Violins have a Low C String so 5 String Violins.
*promosm* 🌟
Have you heard of the Codabow Aspire? Is it discontinued? What are its characteristics?
👏🏼
It sounds like he’s doing his best to not compliment Codabow despite the fact that he’s promoting codabow. Why not just say codabow is great? I don’t get it
So is he going to mention the difference in bows - like the title of the video
I find cleaning the hair is effective for awhile. If my hair is not breaking a good cleaning can save me some repair cycles.
How do you clean yours?
@nickiemcnichols5397 First, very carefully. I use alcohol to clean the hair and strip off the rosin. So much as a small drop of alcohol on your bow wood will damage the finish. I am careful to ensure that does not happen. After cleaning the hair, I blot it and hang the bow to dry in my shop. You can also use detergent like Dawn to wash the hair. This is way safer and is the method I used as a teen. I had to ship my bows to a violin maker then so a frequent rehair was not practical. I learned to clean my hair and rehair infrequently. That has always worked for me. A violin maker told me that hair does not wear out but gets brittle and breaks. When I experience this I rehair.
@@arthurmroyce I use Alcohol prep pads (those little pads that a nurse or doctor rubs the area that an injection is going to be applied to) that you can get from your local pharmacy. They are cheap - I got 200 for $3.49 Canadian - enough for my musical lifetime. And they are not dripping wet, but be very careful - alcohol can do nasty things to varnish. I wrap the stick with a relatively thick microfibre cloth to protect it. And every once in a while I check to see how much rosin is left on my strings and if it's excessive (in my opinion), I use a prep pad to clean the excess off. If I'm cleaning the strings constantly, then I'm rosining too much. A prep pad can be used to get dirt and rosin off the fingerboard. Once again protect the instrument - the microfibre cloth is under the fingerboard to the bridge. And I put my mute on the bridge to make sure I don't bump the bridge or get alcohol on it. Also, there are opinions that cleaning your strings with alcohol degrades the life of the strings. Cleaning the strings repeatedly with alcohol, I can understand that, but if cleaning the excess off once improves the sound, sure. Beats having to buy a new set of Pirazzi Gold (that's what were on my violin when I bought it) and they're not exactly cheap here in Canada...
@johncebasek6252 great idea. I am super careful, but I like your idea
@@arthurmroyce Thank you. Enjoy your day!
aku memakai coda bow joule.... aku suka! matur suksma
Lovely. Inspires me to try this to. (I think the viola open strings may be a little flat!)
Cool and impressively tight -- I might consider the 'cello pickup on the strength of this....
awesome
Atmosphere and Dessa! She hasn't forgotten her Minnesota roots.
How do I know if I have hard water?
Great to see a prominent rock and roll violinist playing with a CodaBow!
Definitely looking into a Prodigy bow as my first CodaBow to dip my toes. I mainly play folk music on a German violin built in 1892. It has a grungy and meaty tone.
I just ordered the GX Diamond and I can’t wait to have it 🎶🎻🥰
Hi Pete! You sound great! Good to see you!-Irene
💞 "promo sm"
🎻
Marvelous! Where can i find violin sheet for this music?
really good 👏👏👏
Even though the Codebow Joule was designed for electric violins, can it be used effectively on acoustic violins?
Yes I use it on my acoustic wood and mezzo forte carbon violins
No.
Either that fiddle has a good tone or you can make any fiddle sound good,it sounds sweet.
Looking into buying an SX and this video really helped me make up my mind. Beautiful playing, what was the second last piece?
Okay but thank you for that display. I forgot what I was watching this for when I heard your playing 😅🔥
A beautiful video. Interesting visuals for a company who specializes in carbon fiber, but absolutely beautiful. I hear people talk about how at the highest end, the pernambuco bows are much more "alive" but as a beginner, I play better on the stable, smooth NX than I do on any of the wooden bows I've tried under $1,000 I look forward to getting to the point where I can, perhaps, appreciate what comes from the marquise or higher end pernambuco bows, although I certainly like the idea of a CF bow which does not require endangered woods.
This bow sounded very good. Thanks for your viola bow tests !
The Joule bow sounds great 👍🏻! Thanks for testing them on the viola.
Very nice - packed with emotion
Solid performance!!
id on the shoulder rest?
The camera work was making me a little motion sick 🥴 Kudos to the performer! I can't wait to try this bow
Lovely Video
An inspirational performance! Bravo 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Great array of bowing strokes!
Bravo! Wonderful violinist. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
You teach? Email please?
Excellent!
Many thanks!
It makes bowing easier.
The Prodigy is a great way to get started on using a Carbon Fiber Bow w/o busting the Bank.
Beautiful. Only wish no face coverings were used. Few healthy people in a chamber, don’t think protection is required
Wow! What a beautiful rendition… BRILLIANT, BRAVO!❤️ wonderful. Masterful artistry.
