Guys, this just won't work for me. WTF? I do the exact same thing but the combinations are changing. I went from 476 caps which I barely collected, to 48 and no matter how many times I deleted data, the amount stayed the same everytime I tried this trick. I didn't leave gas station not even one time during this. I'd just exit the location to the map. Google Play is connected as well. What can be the reason? 😢

I used vpn and this solved the closing app problem. But after I turned off wifi, modified the dog, closed the game then turned on wifi and restarted game the dog stayed in adult form. I did the same u showed so why isnt it working for me?

Another tips : Dont lock the dog skill (tick button to preserve the parent trait) because the next level trait will be reset as it is lv 1 trait. For example if you breed lv 3 dog and the trait is locked, then the third trait will be as it is lv 1 trait. This mean it is impossible to get true friend if the dog candidate 's trait is locked and impossible to save up a good trait and get the good trait on the next level because the next level trait surely a common trait.
