I watched the movie and I too was a little disappointed with the overall film. It had cliché TV shifts and even breaks in scenes for commercials. The movie did well to sell the idea of the plot, but there are too many “inside stories” within the film to keep the focus on the main story. Great review!

A good review. I feel as tho the movie could have covered more details about Dylan’s life; like he was always high on pot, he never bathed or combed his hair, he wore the same clothes all the time, etc.

504 Cinematic Films released in America and Canada in 2023 meaning their is bound to be alot of mediocre movies!!!

A mediocre movie about a great man (thought the scenes with The Nazis sitting all together in uniform in the pews in Church fascinating was surprised they did that)?!!!

Hi Jon , I disagree . I think the movie was funny and the story original . But its me , I love "The return of the living dead" and " Frankenhoker " BTW. So maybe we dont share the same sens of humor😄 . But still great video 👍🍻

Would love to hear more reviews from you.. some movies you could try review or watch (probably already have) are interstellar, blood diamond, paradise lost (escobar) and equilibrium/minority report/irobot (for what has been happening over the last 4 years and direction we have been heading towards)

Just watched last night and I agree with most of your commentary. I was hoping afterwards that there were a lot of breadcrumbs to be uncovered with repeat watching and hell, maybe there are but the end was not satisfying. I felt the movie got off to a decent enough start, but the crypticness in the time technology that was introduced early was the most thought-provoking thing about it.

I actually did play this when I was younger, and what the dagger of Xian did was implied in the intro to the original, but aside from that I hadn't actually played the first one. Even then, this one and 4 were my favorite of the first 5.

I binge watched the three first movies in the series some 25 years ago, the same day, and this first B/W movie was my favorite. And still today it is my favorite. The other movies trump it in gore and violence, none of them thrump this movie in eerie and creepy atmosphere.

She was supposed to be a man but it was decided that was too close to Indiana. So it it basically became a page 3 (google it) adventure game. Love it tho.

This was the only Tomb Raider game that I played that I didn't finish. It is definitely my least favorite of the franchise.
