So you took the stock shifter and said to yourself, how do I over complicate this for no reason other than people will think I'm cool? It's an eaton 18 speed. Not a 6-4 or 4-4 the reason some trucks had 2 sticks was because they had 2 transmissions.. at that if they still used 2 transmissions today trucks still wouldn't have 2 sticks in them lol. This was kind of wild to witness someone do for no benefit at all.

I'm from Brazil 🇧🇷 and I was curious to know how the gear changes in these American trucks were. Here they are prohibited from working by law due to the wheelbase. I noticed that you didn't use a clutch, around here people said that these gears were difficult to engage but in your video you proved completely the opposite. Sensational video.

That's a joke. Thats not a two stick. It's an Eaton Fuller 18 speed. They come with 1 stick, a grey high low splitter on the top left you flip front and back with your thumb, and a paddle in the front you flip up to go into the high side to repeat the low side pattern. The stick on the right is fake, it's an electric switch for the grey button and the switch on the dash is the paddle that was the high/low side paddle. The 18 speed Fuller is the easiest transmission to shift there is. Try a Mack 4 and 5 twenty speed two stick and get back to me. The internet has become so full of fake BS for likes. Making people stupid.

Naw, I wouldn't say that it looks wild and crazy. Maybe to someone who doesn't know what they're looking at, but not to us who do know. Clearly, this is only for us guys who loves to shift gears. It just makes it slightly more complex to give us something extra to do, bcuz we have already mastered the art of shifting and it becomes too easy. After while, you will need a triple stick to turn that range selector into a stick vs. a dash switch like you have it. Honestly, you mind as well had gotten a triple stick! Once that gets boring, you'll then need a quadruple stick. One for the low gears, one for the high gears, one to engage either the low side stick or the high side stick, and one to split, lmao! That's if that's even possible, lmao!

I find it stupid to have the range selector on the dash instead of on the stick. It's completely unnecessary and out of the way. So, you have to reacj forward to put it in high or low range. What happens when you're quick shifting, or when you really need to stop and are downshifting very quickly? You now have to reach to the dash to select low range. This is a dumb design. You should have them install it on the shifter or on the splitter stick, or turn it into a triple stick, and add it into the third stick!

basically: when you reach max rpm at low, you shift not the gear but the range to high, and when you reach max rpm on high you shift to next gear in low and you continue that loop until you ran out of gears?

So each gear has a low and high setting that you adjust with the second stick? So what is the difference between a air splitter and auxiliary stick? I’ve never seen one before.
