K Cups for the K Cup Throne!

Hey! The only ones that I would really vet in 1/6 would be the VTS figures, which are unlicensed 3rd party pieces. The TToys figure was horrible, and I have heard poor things about the clean rot knight that was released and the Malenia. I did enjoy the Superduck set also but you need to assemble that one yourself. Other than that we are still waiting on Blaidd from VTS, MasterTeam’s Ranni, and who knows if they’ll ever release. As far as other scales go I really enjoyed the SHFiguarts Vyke, they also teased a Malenia, and Figma is coming out with a Vargram that also looks pretty darn good! @ Oh, man! It would be. Not much luck there though, at least that I have found. There are some heavy diecast keychains on Etsy that scale alright. They are probably too heavy for the figures. Best bet would be to reach out to someone who 3d prints decently and see if you can find an STL of the accessory you want for them to print for you.

Sangdue, a seller on eBay. Word of warning though, they messed up the scale on the first one they sent me (as well as quality being significantly lower). After I reached out to the seller they sent the proper one. I spoke to some other buyers and it seems like this is a recurring pattern when hunting down this sculpt.

Hey there! I reckon your best bet may be to give the hands a bath in some hot water. You don’t need long, maybe just 10 seconds in the water. That should loosen up the pegs well enough to free them from the rubber hands with ease. As for the pegs fitting into the body you could wrap a thin layer of plastic, maybe a small square cut from a ziplock bag, around the peg and then insert it into the wrist. This should create a nice tight fit. Be careful though, less is more and too much additional size to the wrist could crack the forearm if forced to hard.

Hey, that’s pretty awesome! I thoroughly enjoy the figure. If you do buy it I would suggest strongly picking up a pair of extra pegs from an old sideshow clone’s feet. Then, even if it does break you’ll have nothing to worry about!

@@fabian-lm3kq I don’t have a link handy. I snagged a couple off of eBay. If you do buy the whole figure to get the pegs then get one that came with an extra set of feet. Some of the sideshow figures had two sets of feet, two flat and two posed. I don’t think a lot of folks used the posed feet so it’s easy to take the pegs out of those and still have the flat feet for displaying the clone.

@Yxxx6 I had a older japanese samurai head sculpt, so I used it. The wrist pegs are just like DamToys long pegs. Also, the middle finger is looping with the hand guards. FYI

You know what? That’s not a bad idea. I always try to hit a couple of poses in the video but a short or something just doing poses would be solid content.

@@NerdieNarwhal yeah man, I'd definitely watch it. See if the advertised poses are legitimately achievable. I mean we all know we don't "play" with these figures. The enjoyment is setting them up in a way they look best. IMO. Shoot if you do play with them then I'm %100 jealous.

​@NerdieNarwhal it's gone up in price more likely due to China buying them out to resell for more. Honestly if they are one of a kind which I find they are, then I don't mind.

It means the only one in existence; which means the term cannot be applied to anything that is churned out in a factory by the hundreds or thousands. Unless the factory decides to make just ONE from a prototype. Even then, that still doesn't make them "one of a kind". These are mass produced in a factory somewhere in China, then stamped with the word "limited" to add perceived value to them. It's a marketing strategy; Nothing more and nothing less. Controlled limitation makes things more inherently valuable but is not "one of a kind". ROFL. You'll pay more down the line for one of these if you miss out at retail, but that doesn't make them "one of a kind".

Shipping took a couple of weeks. I do not recall the store, but it was from Japan and they had the lowest price.

It’s been a while, but I believe it came with a generic base. Otherwise I just used an extra I had around. I can look at the box later and see if there was a spot for a stand or not.

I am not sure! I went through GianToy. I know onesixthkit had them also. If those sources are dry your best bet may be eBay.

It’s a Sideshow Clone Trooper. Not Hot Toys. And it is the ankle pegs specifically that you can use for the wrist pegs with this figure.

Hey! There is a lot to probably keep in mind. It really depends on what kind of collector you are. For me personally, I intend to enjoy the figures in my collection over ensuring they retain any sort of value long term. So in essence, I pose the heck out of them and like to push things to the limit on display. For Snake in particular: long term dynamic poses can probably lead to the suit stretching a bit and looking kind of bunched afterwards in a neutral pose. That sort of a thing doesn’t really bother me all too much but you’d have to weigh that sort of a thing for yourself!

Thank you! I agree, the MTToys looked a bit stronger in terms of likeness. That said, I don’t know if that ever released or if it was quietly cancelled.

Hey! I did buy it on eBay. Ended up being legit, but if it wasn’t I was pretty confident I’d be able to get ,y money back. eBay usually takes pretty good care of the buyer!
