First of all, your definition of "radical" feminism is wrong. "Radical" feminism is defined as "people" who believe that Radical feminism is a branch of feminism that seeks to dismantle the traditional patriarchal power and gender roles that keep women oppressed. Radical feminists believe that the cause of gender inequality is based on men’s need or desire to control women. The definition of the word ‘radical’ means ‘of or relating to the root’. Radical feminists thus see patriarchy as the root cause of inequality between men and women and they seek to up-root this. They aim to address the root causes of oppression through systemic change and activism, rather than through legislative or economic change. It has nothing to do with who one has intimate relations with. There are even men who are "radical" feminists. Secondly, women who inter into a profession that is male dominated and oriented are automatically feminists wether they know it or not. Of course, we have female rappers who perform material that were written by men for men, but we also have these women who write, produce and perform their own material like Meghan Thee, Brandie Blaze, and many more. Their lyrics speak for this. When we look back in history we see Black women who were feminists before the term "feminist" was even created. Cleopatra, Harriet Tubman and Sojourner Truth were feminists, before yt women ever even thought of it. This is a truth that stuns Black men when they claim that Black women are being mislead by yt women with the feminist movement while it was Black women who were the first to stand up, but last to be recognized. In fact women like Angela Davis are causing a shift in feminism and most of the yt feminists are leaving the yt glass ceiling, carceral feminist movement who have members like Hillary Clinton, Gloria Steinem and are joining the grass roots feminist movement who are lead by Black women. Black feminism is the feminism of the future and the feminism that is going to work. It is working, because men are not laughing about them anymore. Men are mad. They're mad, because patriarchy is/ was a lie in the first place and is being overcome by truth.

Maybe something is happening with their industry behind-the-scenes that we do not know the details yet. I’m OK with people changing industries, that doesn’t bother me. However, I buy healthcare, haircare, and skincare products from people who have invested time and experience into the education and the application of the education connected to that industry. If you have been acting or in the music industry for 20 years, then I may, depending on the moral standing and the message, I may consume your content for 5 minutes or one hour or two hours and then you’re out of my life. Leave the chemicals to the chemist. Leave the details of the math and the science to the stem people not the artist.

The hate they are getting for their hair care lines is weird. P&G can buy up all the natural hair lines and sell watered down products for black women but we are hypercritical of black celebs? I get it but still Tracee Ellis has always been about her hair and so has Taraj so it makes sense. Rhianna like many black women I know experiments with her hair so her line also adds up.

It’s just profit to be made. Celebrities just want to come out with products to make money off of.

I have been natural my whole life and keep my care simple. Even have a channel, but barely post now because of the phenom. I kept my stuff simple and taught the science of hair with a busyblifestyle.

I don’t know why you think there were not many natural hair brands a few years ago. I could see if you said 15 years ago. Even some traditionally relaxer brands like Dark and Lovely, Mizani and African Pride out out natural lines. Not to mention Taliah Waajid, Alikay Naturals, Uncle Funky’s Daughter, Obia, Bask and Bloom, Afroveda, Keraveda, Mane Choice, Hair Rules, Mielle Organics, Kinky Curly, Beautiful Curls, Karen’s Body Beautiful, Oyin, Design Essentials, Curls and countless others. I also know some that went out of business like MopTop Maven. I liked that leave in.

Think for a minute about how silly and frankly self hating that sounds "natural hair is trending" It is the hair that grows organically from your head, not a fashion trend. Imagine saying not bleaching your skin, because brown skin is trending now.

The natural hair movement in the 50s was about embracing your beauty and fighting the white washing society expectations. The movement i the early 2000s was the same. Now it’s about gate keeping and selling products

Her hair was clearly recently big chopped because it was DAMAGED; which means her products don’t even work on her. She showed her hair for 2 mins and slapped a weave back on. At least Beyoncé has long hair. Bey could actually finesse and say her products work.

Once I saw Riri wearing her natural hair I said aww ish Natural hair is bout to make a comeback. I was natural for 8 years and I've been locs now for 5 years. I am grateful for this journey. As soon I did my big chop I started going thru an awakening

I don’t follow celebrities. Most don’t have as much hair as I have. I grew up during the 60s and 70s. Our regime was simple: cleanse, condition, detangle and use of hair grease to condition and style our natural hair. I still use the same regime and my hair grows past my butt. Today, “Natural Hair” followers are doing way toooo much!!! The “Old School” regime is tried and true over many, many decades long before what’s called “The Natural Hair Movement.” Hell . . . It’s not a movement . . . It has always been here!!!

Been natural for 10 years and I do what I want. Also a hooded dryer changed the game for me! Only thing is I’ve never been at waist length been stuck at mid back but other than that I love it here!

I dont trust nor will purchase from anyone who doesnt already wear their hair natural....And are only wearing it out for promotions...next! It seems natural hair or any form of curly hair , is profitable. I dont want to hear it.

I’m liking this new era of the natural hair where we’re reclaiming the type 4 hair spotlight, while these celebrities are catering to “every type of curl” because our natural hair movement inspired everybody even white women to embrace their curl. I don’t care about their ish.

I still use Blue Magic hair grease and CurlMax for moisture, that works for me

I am a reformed product junky. I will never go back. Natural hair does not have to be expensive nor does it require 5+ products from everyone’s line.

The pretty privilege video inspired me to go back to natural hairstyles. Also, the natural hair community is a whole lot less complicated now. They used to have videos with 6hr wash days. 😂 And I think a lot of people got locs for hair retention but they didn’t want to admit it because the loc community can be toxic. Notice how they are all taking out their locs, not chops or cuts

These folks way too influence-able. Natural hair never fell out of "style" for the real girlies.

I've definitely noticed natural hair is trending again and I'm here for it. I just hope we don't go down the same route of everyone pushing Blueberry Bliss products or whatever new BS product they come out with. W video <3
