@LedermanufakturSievert well, it appears it was only dropped into my daily video mentions yesterday, but when I checked the video dropped 6 days ago (as of yesterday). So I'm not even getting the notifications on the day! UA-cam. That's the problem. And I've also tried changing the notifications I've the channel, so I might try unsubbing and re-subbing.

It is a bit strange, in the last hours i got a lot of clicks from the notifications. Even if the video is almost a week old. Feels a bit like the notifications are sent in waves and not all at the moment of the video release. I have no idea, I asked the creator support. Maybe they know what's going on. (Sorry for my bad English, obviously I'm not a native English speaker)

It's contact cement. There are a lot of good products. I usually go for a product that's mainly made for shoes.

At the moment i'm working on a Wallet Pattern for a bifold wallet with a card dispenser. But maybe that's an Idea for the future.

You don't have to stitch it. With heavy duty glue it's not really necessary. You can leave it blank or alternatively you can use rivets.

I understand what you mean. But the stitching isn't that complicated. Without a stitching pony it can be a bit annoying. In the end it's just something you have to get used to. If you change it to rivets make sure the border is wide enough. Maybe draw it first to find the right dimensions. If I can help you in any way feel free to let me know.

@robrichardson1284 the rivet head has a size of 5mm (0.5cm). The length depends on the leather you are using. Feel free to ask whatever question you might have.

Hi and welcome to my Chanel. Questions are always welcome and I will try my best to answer them. As i'm not native english as well this will be fun 😊 The distance of the hole in the body part is about 1 inch. If you cut the strap at the beginning at about 7 cm it will most definitely be too long (depending on the thickness of the book you want to use of course). And that's what you want, that way you can cut (figure out the length of) the strap when you can place the book into the cover. I left about 1 inch of the strap single layered to make it bend easily. After that place the book and check how long you like it. I ended up cutting about 1,5 cm with the half round punch. (Just use a coin instead) But that depends on your personal taste and how far you like it to go. If you aren't sure and don't want to waste your materials, make it from paper first. Glue and staple it together. Then try your book with that version, that way you will see pretty fast if you need something changed without wasting your leather. But remember, as the leather is thicker your paper version will be a tiny bit bigger than the final version.I hope I caught all the questions, if not feel free to ask in detail. That's exactly what i'm thinking. I got the strope and sharpen the knife every time anyways, so it doesn't really matter if it has to work like that. 😂

Hi, I ordered it from a big online shopping site. If you search for belt clip you should find a couple of different ones. In my case it was 3 pc for about 10 dollars. But you can swap the design easy to a belt loop by simply just sewing and gluing bottom and top side, just don't make the cutout in the little back plate. I hope you understand what I mean.

Hi, the marker is a standard refillable marker. You can get them empty in a pack of 5, or at least I did. And than I filled it with black leather dye. But be careful when using the pump mechanism, make sure the tip isn't to soaked.

Thank you. The main leather is 1,5mm thick and the outer, dark brown leather is 2,6mm.
