It's called a firewall. You just made that area like a flamethrower if you have a fire back there. Hope someone you tell to do this doesn't die by fire🤦

4:53 The o-ring is hidden and goes between the adjuster and the housing. You have to have the 381/15 star tool to back out the adjuster. You MUST mark the position of the adjuster before removal so the play in the bearing is left as the factory adjusted it.
Did you just yank the carpet out from under the side panels or did you have to remove them?
You can squeeze it out and back in again without removing the panels

The O-Ring is for the Diff Sliders which you didn't remove. You should be good to go without replacing them as removing the sliders opens up a whole new can of worms.

It's very simple to convert this unit to work with the old school block fuel pump and carburater. These units also can be addapted into vapor fuel units.
Why on gods green earth would you stray from a maintence free injection system to a carb? Loss of power loss of fuel economy plus a carb will only make it so long before it has issues. Ive never had enough issues with fuel injection that would make me want the heartache of carburation.
Hello, can you can specify the sizes of the access panel and distance from some parts of a car. It would be better to mail me (pavelkarpovis@gmail.com) the photo of the panel with dimensions. Going to replace the fuel pump, don't want to to remove the tank, ty in advance :)
