i saw the old version of this lifting bridge up in the air when i visited great yarmouth in December lat year it is open to cars and Members of the public yet.

The day Lowestoft came to a standstill (or grid-locked). Super control by the tug skippers. Drone coverage was pretty good too.

Great video. When I become a liitle more proficient and confident, I might try videoing ships entering the Mersey.

Thank you for subscribing - I have returned the favour. I probably spoke to you - there were two gentlemen by the car park I spoke to for a while - one on a mobility vehicle and one that had a model / interesting placard regarding container ships
@@ftagaz don't know who the guy with the mobility scooter is but I know who the other one is. I was filming on the wooden pier/jetty near the radar tower.

Did you use the beach next to the fort to take off?
Hi Roger, if you use Altitude Angel it will advise where you can and can't operate. As far as I'm aware, you can't operate from the beach to the east of the fort as it's a bird nature reserve.
@@ftagaz okay thanks. From the map, there doesn't seem to be that many places to fly from. Did you fly from a boat or the opposite side of the estuary?

Beautiful piece of work, Framlingham Castle is on my list of drone subjects. I doubt I will get such ideal conditions when I try it though.
did you have any problems due to the lower sensor when landing in fog?
Absolutely no problems with lower sensors at all. Only had an issue where it’s been quite low and tried to land on mirror like water
