Hello there !
My name is Nicolas, glider pilot for 4 years with about 500 hours of flight time, I make you discover one of the most rewarding sports on earth: gliding.
I am also actively involved in the promotion and incrementation of new gliders and updates for Condor 2.

Condor 3 - XC Version
Everything from the standard version, plus:
Bugwipers:
Competition planes have bugwipers to clear accumulated bugs from the wings and increase performance.
Hawk vario:
The Total Energy vario in Condor measures static and dynamic pressure to compute the total energy. When the glider flies through a turbulent airmass, wind gusts are interpreted as energy gains and the TEC vario becomes more nervous and often shows lift where there is none.
The HAWK vario algorithm in Condor XC combines inputs from the weather and physics engine to eliminate the unwanted effects of horizontal wind gusts and gives a fast and accurate measure of climb rate. This gives more precise information on when to stop for circling and helps to center thermals more efficiently.
Live Wind:
This shows the actual wind direction the glider is flying through. When close to a thermal this helps with indicating when to turn, and in which direction for faster centering.
Flarm targets:
These are displayed on the Condor flight computer or the LX9070 so you can see where other pilots are circling and their climb rate.

Is there an upgrade path for Condor 2 owners or is it "buy it again sucker"?
really, I love my condor sim 2! Flew over 1000 hours, never regretted the purchase! I was also eagerly awaiting Condor 3 and, if I'm honest, hoped that the graphics would be significantly better. Unfortunately not... Honestly? 2024 and the graphics? really disappointed..
Is it possible to enable to AHRS either on the vario circle or in the lx9070 itself?
I am having a tons of fun flying from the rear on the Discuss and Arcus. That is a game changer for me especially considering that I am working toward my BGA Instructor Rating. The realistic LX9070 is also an amazing plus. Weather is really great and the increased flying area, the airspaces and high resolution terrain allow me to really experience VFR flight. Well Done Team. Only one very minor negative : the inability to hide the pilots…..they are low res and I would much prefer flying without them. Also some random traffic when flying solo as an incentive to develop the habit of looking out and take advantage of the FLARM would have been amazing.

oculus headsets yes....... its possible with others but it takes work around stuff that i dont know about as i have a quest 3

Good improvements but cmon 6 years of development and it still looks like 2001 ...
I agree Condor V3 could be a little better from what we got. I miss dynamic objects like birds flying in thermals, cars on the runways, better bitmaps of glider cockpits, Butt Kicker support. All that will make Condor more immersial and pleasure to fly, mainly in VR. Hope it can be adden in current version in recent years.
Can you make dual inputs? What happens if one pulls the stick and the other pilot pushes ?
Only one pilot can ever be in control at some time. Before the flight, a pilot in command is designated who can pass on or claim control during the flight with the swap control button. More information is on page 46 in the current version of the manual.
Do i need the XC edition if I wanna fly MP flights with my friends?

Are the Condor team on a quest to hype us?
The hype is real now. C3 has been released, I got it. You currently cant have it if you havent got it already, servers got a bit overwhelmed, but try again in a day or so if you want it.

Love this plane, not as efficient as newer designs but really fun and agile while still being more efficient than an acro
21 meters seems to be about the optimum. Much larger, and aside from bragging rights regarding best L/D, you start to lose out in maneuverability and speed.

elles sont super tes vidéos - je trouve que ton rendu d'image est très bon. Moi aussi j'utilise une GoPro8 - des conseils sur les paramètres? (dans mon cas je trouve qu'on voit beaucoup le reflet dans la vèrriére....et toutes les petites rayures ! 🙂). Tu fixes ta caméra dans un endroit particulier? - bref si tu as des tuyaux je suis preneur. Bons vols! P.S. je pense qu'on s'est croisé à ST Crépin
Merci! Pour les paramètres une image en 4K avec le maximum de FPS ! Et surtout une carte SD de catégorie 3, 4 ou + pour que l'écriture soit au top! Pour la verrière pas de secret... lors d'une VA, un morceau de coton et de la pate à polisher et astiquer la verrière ! :) Adieu les micro rayures, bonjour la verrière toute neuve. C'est très agréable de voler en montagne sans rayures partout ahaha. La caméra je la fixe vers l'épaule, sur le tableau de bord ou juste je la prends à la main lorsqu'une envie me prend de la prendre ;). A bientot à saint crepin !

Damn, you actually flew on a JS3! How was it?
Quite complicated for the first 2 hours (never flew a 18m or even a flapped glide before), but once you understand how the flaps wow, it's absolutely a joy to fly!! Even without experience on previous high performance glider, switching from club class to Js3-18 is very easy 👌😉
