A HIKE UP Roseberry Topping
Nice little hike up Roseberry Topping, North Yorkshire with Chloe. This is a lovely hike with stunning views of Yorkshire. I really enjoyed this one, good fun. Also, I got to teach Choe about some wild foods and the benefits of Silver Birch and how to carry an ember using Fungi. Enjoy watching.

Awesome adventure this one up at Spithope Bothy, Northumberland with @SteFortune . We had some good craic and some good food on this one. The overall location is amazing, with not too tough of a hike to get there and parking near by in Byrness Village. Wild Camping | Alone in Lanzarote ( CANARIES STYLE)

In this video I complete my first ever international solo wild camp in Lanzarote. The adventure brought some tough terrain, some awesome views, and some unnerving sounds, but what an experience. Before setting out on my camping expedition I had already chosen my location Montaña de Tinaguache, situated above the town of Costa Teguise. I couldn't make allowances for the terrain, but I am thankfu...

In this video, I do my first ever solo camp in the wild. So many people say there is meant to be spirits and a bigfoot in the darkness of Harwood Frorest. Hopefully I don't encounter any of them. Nice little hike with Ste Fortune up Roseberry Topping North Yorkshire. some lovely scenery to be had up there, as you'll see in the video. I would recommend anyone go. It's also an ideal place for low impact fitness and can be done at your own pace. it also has paid parking, £3.50 for 2hrs £5.50 for 16.5hrs and I cant remember how much for 24hrs, but not expensive. One thing's for sure the wildlife around there is beautiful 💯 Good birra craic between yas, Takecare lads aye 👊 Just hope Eddie stays
Cheer pal... Where did you see them trees? we couldn't see owt, I mean IPA's and a bottle of Hooch Vodka might not of helped 😉 Aye, I think Eddie stays. There's no way he'll leave, Newcastle is a better project.
@@raceoutdoors I couldn't see the wood for the trees pal, hahaaa 🌴👀
Candle night dudes
Loving the light weight setup you's two are both running 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Another great adventure mate, really enjoyed this one with wor Sergio 😂, roll on the next one dude
Absolutely unreal mate, awesome location. Can't wait for the next one, pal.

Thanks, mate, and also, thanks for the sub. I'll check your videos out.

Ey up lads new sub here great video man.catch you on the next one😊benny
Thanks for the sub Benny, just checked out your channel...looks like my sort of thing
Top night mate, love a little local wildcamp, another one in the basket dude
It going to rain tonight, I am going to set it up and see what happens Thanks for your response Garry , Raleigh NC
Not a problem, let me know how you get on. Good luck 👍
My leaks at the foot box location What should I do
Ahh, that's not great, I've never personally come across this issue. I've had tents that have leaked at the seams before. What I used to repair them was seam sealer. You can purchase it from amazon. I hope this helps. Good luck
Are you sure it's a leak and not condensation? Where I'm from this bivvy is nicknamed the "bathtub". For that exact reason.
Good quality but Snugpaks pricing is now nuts. Have now swapped my Strat. for a Geertop Plume 2. Half the price and half condensation (much better ventilation). And yes, perfectly waterproof...lol!
I like it, very stealthy
The stash idea is class, Id seen this location but never knew the name one to tick off for the winter for me, Happily subscribing to you your filming style is very good keep at it and enjoy the camps without the camera also fella all the best Ryan 🌿🤙
Thanks for the sub! Honestly, I recommend going. It's a beautiful place all year round. Just be careful of widow makers in the winter. Enjoy the wilderness buddy.
A popular youtuber got his car burnt out well camping in this forest be careful 😆👍🏻
Ahh, that's not great, I've been 4 or 5 times now and had no bother at all. Hopefully, I don't speak too soon 🤞🤞
very good review thx u for sharing ,not something i would want to use but they look good i like a little more room mark from gateshead
Thank you Mark... Yeah they are pretty claustrophobic to sleep in, but ideal for multi day trips or stealth camping. Like you I also like a bit of extra room when I can, lol
Loved it mate, great stuff my friend, very professional dude, great video ❤
Glad you enjoyed it pal, bring on the next adventure 😀
forgot to ask where did you get your axe sharpener from if you dont mind? mark
Hello, mate, it's a sharpal. I purchased it from amazon.... SHARPAL 103N All-in-1 Knife and Garden Tool Blade Sharpener, Sharpening and Honing Shears, Secateurs, Lawn Mower Blade, Axe, Pruner, Scissors, Outdoor and Kitchen Knives amzn.eu/d/17s9uJl
glad i found your channel , i go there every weekend and more if i can , but wont be going for a while i loved watching this video thx you for sharing and for noises i heard noises but nothing u could say was anything and bigfoot nah no signs , mark
Hello mate, I'm pleased you've enjoyed the video. Harwood Frorest is mine and my mates go back to place, it's amazing up there. With regards to the noises I've heard nothing that can't be explained away, like the water in the burns. It can sound like voices and fir cones falling and branches snapping could sound like someone approaching. The minds a strange thing a loves to play tricks....as for sightings. I've seen nothing yet! I hope you're able to get back up there soon buddy, take it easy 🙏
Looks like you are all having fun there mate
Aye, it's good craic mate, you'd enjoy it. Your more than welcome to join anytime
Was I not there ha ha, not putting me in the thumbnail, Wantsy ha ha, a total wash out this one, but it was an adventure dude 😎
Changed the thumbnail, just for you, sweetheart 😘 😅😅
@@raceoutdoors Awesome mate, remember sex sells haha 😂
Only putting himself in the thumbnail ha ha, nice video spurts, bring on Harwood
Looks like harwood blades camp if u look him up on UA-cam
Yeah it is, we've been to see it a couple of times. Quite an impressive camp. Decent video also when I watched it.
have you not thought about using a hammock i get the best night sleep in one so comfortable
Think I might invest in one. Do you have any recommendations?
I start off with a cheap one off amazon think I paid £15 as i didn't know if i'd like it and didn't want to waste my money (which I still have I just use it to loan out ) I now have a DD frontline @@raceoutdoors
DD hammocks really good and uk made but not the cheapest I have the DD frontline cost around £50 @@raceoutdoors
Yeah, I've got a DD hammock in my wish list on amazon. You've pretty much convinced me to buy now you said you have one. 😊
you will not regret it they are amazing bit of kit @@raceoutdoors
Great hike spots, roll on the next one Ghandi
That middle route up roseberry topping is a killer 😮
I've done it quite a lot of times, and have to be honest I agree with you. It gets me every time lol.
Meh! Edit error, when ste sings...soz dude lol. Xxx

Pleased you enjoyed that one mate, definitely one of our best camps.
Absolutely brilliant camp mate, loved every minute of you, class video spotty man ❤
What an awesome birthday for you Stephen....And what a lovely couple of new friends you both made...xx

Hahaha, it was a class trip. They were awesome people. They fed us also, good craic and the extraction was beautiful on the boat👍 looking forward to organising the next one.

Good camp.. good crack and good luck 🤟🏻
Thanks, mate.. Really enjoyed this camp, wasn't even planned.
Racey nice to see some local places mate
People don't realise what we have on our doorstep, sadly. I always try to fit local camps in as well as go further a field.

Great video lads. Give me a clue where it is and I'll sign your book 😂👍
Yer man be cool to sign the book and read it over a campfire lol
Love this dude, another great wild camping trip in the nag, roll on the next one sweetie 😎
Your tent looks like a frog so you should call her Freda wife of Fredo....lol
Freda... not a bad name that 🤔
Nice one mate, enjoyed that I said to Ste the other day it’s fun watching both your channels to see your videos from each other’s perspective
Aye, I'm the same love watching his to see the difference in prospective...its good fun, and class laugh.
Agree love seeing how yous both do it different but good 👍
Be carful what yous say on channel I had my 12 year 1400 Frank Spencer channel closed down due to hate speech 100 quid a month I was making too so thought I’d give yous heads up altho my channel was from other people talking in background so yous should be ok 👍
These videos are a good idea spotty man 😊
I'm glad you think so! Spots
Great video dude, pet hates! Disappointing wood supplyage haha
Very disappointed with the wood, burnt too quickly...midges had a laugh at our expense 😢
@@raceoutdoors The wood was dire wasn't it, nothing like Fire Fiddlers Island
@@SteFortune it was definitely Sinead O'connor
@@raceoutdoors All the fires thar we fiddled in Galloway, all died in a second
great video.. galloway looks amazing I've never been but I will have to put it on my to do list , I use alpkit hippo water filter
Mate, it is a lovely place please do go highly recommend. The midges are a bit of a nuisance, really bad at dusk and Dawn. Alpkit hippo? Will look at that. Alastair, you have been very useful to speak to on here. Upmost respect and thank you 😊
@@raceoutdoors alpkit at metro centre has so really good kit and not at silly prices ether
Awesome stuff mate, we are well into this now, bring on the next one dude
I love the adventures dude, excited to see where we end up next.
Nice one lads, great video Was half expecting you both to get to the rock and it be a little stone mind!
Ha ha we never got there matey, too far😅
Mate, honestly, if you could have seen the terrain and the distance we had walked....it took 2 hours to get where we were and still take another 1hr 30 to get to The Grey man of Merrick...it was about 5pm when we turned back...imagine adding another 5hrs just to see a 🪨 rock...wouldn't of got back till 10pm haha 😄 I was hungry 😉
hello mate Ive tried replying to you five times but for some reason it keeps disappearing ... lot of ppl just use the cloud peak for solo. the helm 1 is a mint tent I just dont like the price when I go in the woods I use a hammock and tarp
Hello my friend, I've just seen your msg... strange, I don't know why it didn't come through straight away? From what I've been seeing, the price for the Helm 1 is coming down, chances are they will be making a 2spec model 🤔 . I'm definitely buying a bivvy when I can, been looking at them snugpack stratosphere... I love this hobby 😁
@@raceoutdoors if you like the snugpak stratosphere have a look at the alpkit elan
@alastairhayes8761 Thanks, mate. I will have a look at that and compare 👍....cheers, dude 🙏
