Yo, the 1UPs are available on all difficulties, that’s why Mania 1CC 1 life start is possible to complete.

I loved playing this game as a kid! Wish I could still play it.
It’s an amazing game for sure. There are a bunch of options for you to play this game still. There are versions to play it on modern games consoles such as the sega collection games. That game is also available for PC via steam, and there’s emulation on PC as well, loads of options so that you can play this old classic without using the OG sega hardware. It’s worth considering for sure 😁

The motivation in making videos like these were to show the easiest way to do something for newbies to learn the game. So this is not a good speedrun Strat and shouldn’t be used by yourself generally, even for mania you should start with the more dangerous grab start on shiva.

Why did the background glitch
My understanding is that the edge of screen has different mechanics, there’s something that happened because we both punched enemies at the same time at the edges of screen, also, it could be caused because of net play and the reasons I listed above. It’s not something I can say that I fully understand honestly
