If you work near large windows you still need to wear sunscreen 🧴🙏 I reapply with UV sprays, I find it the best for makeup. Also you can gently blot before reapplying sunscreen (would recommend)

Yes, totally agree! The spray method is definitely something that I'm more comfortable with. That's a good suggestion to blot beforehand. Thanks for stopping by 🙂

If wearing makeup: spray with hypochlorus acid, let it dry down, and then reapply with a sunscreen spray/powder/ or makeup with SPF. You can also reapply a really good liquid/gel sunscreen with a few light dabs or beauty blender. It’s def a trail and error process. If not wearing makeup: hypochlorus acid or wipe your face with a gentle micellar water. You don’t need to reapply any actives as they should be absorbed by the 2-4 hr mark. Just reapply moisturizer if desired and sunscreen. I always carry a bag with me for my reapplication products.

Loved being a part of your journey girl! I struggle with the same skin issues & honestly the best treatment for me so far has been prp with microneedling! I’m looooving it. Little expensive but totally worth it, currently on session 3! I feel like my pdo threads completely disappeared and barley built collagen 😒😒 but I’m so glad it worked well for you. If you haven’t tried prp, I would highly recommend looking into it!

Hi! Thank you for watching :) Yes, I was thinking of doing microneedling with PRP in between my yearly Morpheus sessions. I know the results are amazing as well. I'm glad it's working out for you! And yes, these skin procedures are pricey, but def worth it. I'm sorry to hear about your PDO thread experience, but it looks like the microneedling is working well for you, so that's probably the best procedure for you and your skin. Thanks keeping up with my journey. I'll be posting a video with the C02 update as well as a post-Accutane skin update as well. <3

Hi! My acne looks a lot like yours. I get a lot of closed comedones under the skin (tiny bumps and whiteheads) but they start to infect and create huge cysts. This started when I was 19. I always had acne through out my childhood and adolescence but I don't know why it was when I was 19 that all of a sudden my face got completely covered in those white heads and they started to infect into huge cysts. I went to the dermatologist back then and I was put on accutane 20 mg for 8 months. So those 8 months were a living hell for me because my face was purge and my acne was very severe. But after that my face cleared completely and was so smooth apart from the scarring and redness but I didn't mind that. For the next I whould say 8 to 9 months my face stayed smooth and clean. I kept a strict skin care regiment that I still do today. But after those 8/9 months after accutane the white heads started to show up again and infect into huge cysts and my dermatologist only prescribed me topical creams that weren't improving my skin, as it continued to get worse by the day. I went to another dermatologist and she put me back on accutane on 10mg a day and then reducing it to 3 times a week gradually. I took it for about 8 months again and at the end my skin was completely cleared once more. So another 8/9 months passed and we were at the beginning of COVID and masks were mandatory. I don't know if it was the masks or what but my acne came back once more. I went to the same dermatologist again and she told me it was normal and that a lot of people were getting it because of the constant use of face masks, and she prescribed me accutane once more, the exact same dosage for 8 months again. I finished accutane last November and ended up again with a perfect clear and smooth skin. Back towards a few months ago in June same story again, my face started to get covered onde more by whiteheads and they began to infect. I went back to the dermatologist, same clinic, only to find out that I had a new doctor. This one told me I have adult acne and that it's very common but I will eventually have to stop taking accutane and find another solution, but since my face was already pretty bad she prescribed it to me once more but in a much smaller dosage (2 pills a week) and told me to start applying Epiduo gel 2 times a week also in the beginning of October so I just started using it 2 weeks ago. Well I'm currently on my 4 moth of accutane and my skin hasn't improve one bit my jaw area and my cheeks are totally covered in whiteheads and I wake up everyday with one or two new gigantic infected cysts. So it's getting worse by the day, and my treatment is due to end in November so it's not going to clear up anything because it's almost in the end. I tried getting an appointment but she is full so the clinic told me I have to wait until the end of this month to call again and try to get an appointment in November, I'm calling tomorrow again just to make sure the doctor doesn't have her schedule for November already full. I'm pretty terrified to hear what she is going to tell me since she told me already that she wouldn't be prescribing me accutane again, but my face is far from being clean. And I have tried so many other treatment apart from accutane that never worked, only accutane made a difference in my skin. I also have tested everything in my system with an endocrinologist to try and understand If I have any problem that's causing my acne such as PCOS and nothing came of it. I even tried to change my diet and go vegan for a year to see if the problem was in my alimentation, didn't work also. I also took tests to see if I have any allergies, nothing. I already tried everything, I spent so much money for the last few years trying to cure my acne and nothing have worked, at least permanently, it always comes back. I am writing you because I'm at the point of giving up, I'm 24 now and I'm starting to feel defeated. Everyone says that I just have to accept it, it's not a huge deal and millions of people have acne, but I just can't accept it. How is your situation currently? Did you make it or have you relapced after accutane again? Thank you so much for taking your time for reading this very long comment.

Hi catlady. Thanks for sharing. I'm sorry you're going through this roller coaster - I totally feel you. I still get breakouts till this day. I've noticed it flares up more when I consume more dairy than usual. There are a handful of things that cause it to flare up as well. Thank you for sharing your experience. I'm not a doctor, but the little dosages here and there are new to me. Accutane can take a toll on your body since it is a strong drug. I wouldn't say that it cured my acne, but my skin condition has gotten much better in addition to the treatments I get today. I'll post an acne update video and share what works for me. Have you been going to the same dermatologist? Maybe you can get a second opinion from another one just as another option. Hang in there, girl.

@@tandemwithtami thank you so much. I'm going to give this new derm a shot. As I said I'm trying to book an appointment for next month. I'm just afraid that she will take me off accutane since I'm now on month number 4 and I'm supposed to end the treatment in November and my skin is so far from being clear. I hope she considers keeping me on accutane for a little longer because I know if I stop now when I still have my face full of closed comedones they won't go away and my acne will worsen. I'm starting to think that the problem is the dosage she put me on, I never been in such a lower dosage before, and accutane always worked for the 3 times I've took it in the past. Thank you so much. Take care and blessed be.

Hii! Thanks for stopping by. It depends on the dosage you take daily, which is prescribed by the dermatologist. It's based on your health history and current blood tests. It might change as you go through the process due to your body adjusting or reacting to Accutane. I did a video on my Accutane experience if you'd like more detail. Good luck with everything!

Hi! Thanks for stopping by. If you just have surface acne scars, a peel would be good. Microneedling would be good too. I'm not a professional, but these are treatments that I've seen the med spa I go to suggest for acne scars. :) For more surface scars, the CO2 laser treatment would be good too. I'm trying this in October, and hopefully I can get some good documentation of before and after results so I can share it on my channel. Good luck with everything!

Yes, I've heard the same thing, but I think that's for enhancements like a face lift or like a cheek lift since the threads dissolve. However with acne scars, the threads dissolve so they produce collagen to fill in the craters. After PDO threads my skin never reverted back and my craters didn't go back to the depth it was before. However, just threads alone are not helping the depressions, which is why I'm going through a series of Morpheus8 facials. Stay tuned for my results and thanks for stopping by! :)
