How to clean a drilled well. Get sediment out of a well.
Thats a very nice stove. Good work!
Looks like it works to me!
You can heave in some healthy wood in it… 😁
Thank You, hace a well 88' down, cased and sand point. Never used it. Will drop a line down and measure it. Hopefully no sediment. Drop pump and pipe and electrical down and hopefully all good. I'm confident.
Super hope so for ya!
Watching all these clips of homemade stoves, and reading all the praise in the comments, I wonder if there is a single American left with even the most basic knowledge of proper combustion. Seeing tons of steel wasted on such ridiculous projects makes my butt bleed. If this is the best the "greatest nation on earth" is capable of, then we are all doomed.
If you’re comparing homemade/off grid wood stoves on UA-cam to the “best the greatest nation on earth is capable of” I worry for your critical thinking skills. What were you trying to accomplish here other than let us know you’ve never created anything in your life?
They took my fancy reply down… trashing my neibours who are down town Ottawa that triple tax the fuel and want me to drive a electric truck in -30 weather🤯.
Probably something to do with the censorship bill they made to shut us up!
could for a body in that thing
Couple of chicken feathers🤣
I want one!
Show me your build video👍
Dam that is nice, great Job just what I was looking for.
Gonna build one, eh!
Great job! Your build detail was concise and informative. 🙂
Thanks!
Salut din Romania! La aceasta soba as adauga cateva caramizi refractare sa prelungesc eficienta sobei. Deasupra- un vin fiert! Caiinele este foarte simpatic! Sanatate si spor la treaba!
Nice trick. Thank you
Tyler, Did your well fill back in with sediment?
I sold the house couple years ago… I don’t think so because I know the people and haven’t heard anything bad about the well since I sold it… the well did sit still for a couple years and I bought the lot with a existing well… so I cleaned the well😉! I think if the well is used… 🤔 the sediment should enter the house and get caught in the filter that I installed on the house… I put a submersible pump in that well about 1 foot from the bottom… the well is like 30 feet deep ish!
Have been wanting to do this for a long time. Thank you for the tips. Nice job. Are cut and throw choppers better for this compared to auger blower set ups?
I’m not sure… I would say the auger throw would be better… I got a 35 JD and it never plugs doing corn and Haylage… but that 34 JD plugs all the time wilt Haylage, gotta be full pin all the time with the cut throw one.
I know this video is kinda old but I’m having a similar issue and I have narrowed it down to the hydraulic lockout switch also. My question is, does your mult function on/off/on have 3 posts or 6. All the ones I’m finding online are 6 and it looks like there are 2 power and 1 negative
Three position… one way to start… middle neutral and other way to start machine
Intresting video, we are a excavator swing bearing manufacturer. If you need any technical assistance, we can talk.
I’m just a farmer!
Peter, Do you have a new bearing for a 1976 Caterpillar 225 Excavator ? Thanks , Robie 😎
@@idessaoutlaw I have a good bearing for a 9040 case... You will have to see if it fits!
@@idessaoutlaw Hey Robie, sorry for late reply, I was on a business trip, I am going to check and get back to you
@@idessaoutlaw Hi Robie, sorry, after checking, we unfortunately don’t have the item. We also reached out to our nearby factories, but none of them carry it either. It seems it might be too old to find. Sorry for the inconvenience!
brilliant job fair play!!
A good cheap wood chipper😏
Nice work dude.
Thanks!
How deep does the blowing pipe have to go into the borehole? Is the irrigation pump pumping water or air into the well? Tnx for the info!
Pumping water in the well… as deep as I can get the pipe down the well… started higher in the well and the water pressure moves the sediment and you get to the bottom of the well and most of sediment comes out of the well.
@@T-Down-Approved So you are using water not air?
@@felicitymabudusha4761 Just water... and lots of it at about 90 PSI. The irrigation pump pumps water!
@@T-Down-Approved Borehole of 50m deep!
What ever happened to retard switches ? Retarded timing will spin the engine forward instead of backwards. Actually making it easier to start and removing the risk of kickback.
I LOVE the furbaby! 😊🥰
What thickness of steel did you use?
3/16 I think… the door was 1/2
@@T-Down-Approved Thanks!
How deep is your Well?
About 40 feet, actually quite shallow for a drill well
Been a city boy my whole life but this is awakening a primal desire to move to the middle of nowhere and build a house by myself
Go for it Brother... what do ya got to loose!
Hahaha
Those welds kill me
It’s quick eh… good enough for a shop stove😝. What ya think of my welds on my excavator stick video?
I gotta look now
I'm noticing on my 4ton mini slight rocking/play when on slightly sloped ground and swinging with load back and forth .Its like the cabin falls down an inch or so at one point of the swing. Can that be a concern with swing bearing? Its only 3yr old with 450hrs
Well! I guess use it until it grinds… or warranty.🤔. But bearings do have play on them… but🤔
👍👍✔✔
I would have loved to have heard a before and affter. I don't see why it wouldn't work except it looke like there was some sort of screen in the original that was conspicuously missing in yours but perhaps you could let us know how it worked. I have a Cat E70B and an aftermarket replacement was $130. Maybe the one the dealer was selling was platinum?
Thanks that’s what I’m doing tomorrow 580 Lang belt
I hope it goes well for ya!
Cool dog you got there!
I love Lucy!
With this BIG, HEAVY DUTY , TANK-LIKE fire stove the cold air don’t dare to stick around and get close to it! It runs away and waits till you run out of wood! Nice job. Well done👏👏👏👌👌👌
Super thanks!
Good job my pops use to make them all the time !
👍
?
What year ist You toy
2012
Nice build. Something I did to capture more heat off my stove pipe was make a square out of it off first upright put A T then pipe off boath ends of the T then elbows then straight then elbows and another T to finish the box my shop was a 25x35 20 ft walls open truss uninsulated Temps got to about -10 out side and up about 10 degrees. Inside overall about 20ft from the stove the temp was average 50deg.
Super awesome… I wanta make a box on the exhaust pipe with a bunch of tubes in it… with a fan… I know alota heat runs up that pipe!
Nice job
Thanks Case!
i think pumping air down there will help pull stuff up
That’s a good thought too🤔
Thank you so much for this; really came in handy and stopped me going with good enough by eyeball.
I learned it doing my foundation… thanks for looking! 🤙👍
I can’t seem to empty or fill my deep well and I can see something that looks like a dead frog down there
More water… bigger water pump I guess… I don’t really know how to help ya!
Keep practicing with that welder.👍
You bet… just fast stick together box for fire🤙👍
Only expensive not effective and useful.
How much you spend on propane this year?
If I bought one and got it home... I would be looking everywhere else to buy parts like internet.. i cant even begin to say how much I saved from buying from eBay and other tractor part supplyer .... Because if I would have bought locally it would cost me over triple amount... ..
Super agree with you... The rad hose cost alot... This fall will use it to combine some corn... Can't wait! I buy alot of things from Aliaba... 25% the cost of here... And everything comes from over there anyways. JD starter here is 650$... Frome over there $25 plus $140 shipping...
Maybe…thanks
When is your next video coming out?
I got a video in the making of a forage harvester into a wood chipper… but I got a lot of stored videos I’ll make this winter
Maybe you found another harvester at an auction for $50? Wood chips would be nice to have for landscaping. Will be a good video.
Hope for your sake the bushing hole tightens up once you put the heat to it welding. Those bushings are suppose to be a serious press fit. Especially on a machine that size. Nice work all in all though.
Well.... They were drivin in with a hammer after I welded it up... we will see won't we! thanks for the info and thanks for watching!
When you got some shattering on the lath try to use HSS cutting tools and run the lath back warts and the HSS over heat
I will try that with HSS, thanks brother!
Sheesh. Still mesmerized. Great work.
Thanks Laura!
Enjoying your videos. Have to go take care of my ponies now and will be back later to watch more. Youre a little bit mesmerizing.
Thanks, just trying to show the world some of my ways of doing stuff, got some ponies eh! Never had one, I bet there lotsa fun!
@@T-Down-Approved yes, horses are the best. I especially liked your house leveling video.
Was the machine tracking funny before you fixed this?
Yes… you’d walk straight then place a side into stop and it would still walk straight… a little back on the side to stop and would turn them, plus it leaked when was sitting. Always had a pale under there… would leak 1/2 a pale a week… new o-rings fixed it… actually had to do it twice because I cut a ring putting together first time… I think a bad ring from manufacture!
@@T-Down-Approved Thank you for the feed back, I got one I need to go look at it and Im sure thats the problem.
Thank ya, sir!
nice ,,, couple good ideas ,, let us know how it works ,,
It’s been working for couple of years… very happy with my stove, thanks for watching!
