We were going for a late-night talk show/SNL intro feel. 0:24-0:34 This was a photo carousel made in Adobe Aftereffects to showcase a local photographer's work as part of a large...

Southern Rock Band from Southern Missouri. Love it. Ozark folk are good people. OMD!!
‘Thank you Lord, you made it right’ Love this band.
The "Yocum" family arrived directly after the war of 1812.
Great video. I met John and Supe in Chesterfield last year before a show. Really nice guys, I was acting a bit goofy like a groupie so they went with it and enjoyed the quick visit. See you in KC on Nov 8th at the Ameristar.
We saw them in 1976 at a Missouri show!! Killer!! Being a boy raised in the ozarks they were the greatest!! If you wanna get to heaven 👋🕊️🥳🥳
Jackie Blue is such an iconic song, and the statement "you serve the song" is what seperates the men from the boys,.
My mate nige introduced me to O.M.D about 1977 and I've loved them them eversince - sure took the edge of Belfast N Ireland nonsense at the time
Hey a fellow follower, happy days there to!
My uncle owns this
Your uncle is a nice guy! I enjoyed meeting him and getting to chat for a while.
Thanks for the music and LYRICS! Sit on a cloud and cry out loud 'till tomorrow is yesterday!
Only got to see them once, in Golden, CO.
OMD is/was one of the most original bands ever. Still one of my top favorites.
I went to Lake Leatherwood in Eureka Springs,Arkansas a couple of years ago on vacation. We gathered around the picnic table to grill burgers & drink lots of beer, we had the radio on for background music & I’ll be darn, this song, Leatherwood, by OMD came on. They very rarely play that song by OMD on the radio. But here we were, hangin’ at Lake Leatherwood, listening to Leatherwood on the box, must be an omen.
I can listen to "Leatherwood" all day long. Love these guys
Them and Black Oak Arkansas brought some hippie to the hills.
Beautiful area
Cool vid! Very hard story to believe as far as cryptids go. Still, cool vid.
02:13 ☝️✅💖
I like the one in the group there...with the beard, you know....but really... great music thank you ❤
I remember hearing "Leatherwood" for the first time riding in my best friend's red VW bug on the way to the junkyard to hunt for parts. I fell in love with the Ozark Mountain Daredevils that day. To this day they have never failed to put a smile on my face, even on bad days. I saw them in concert in the early '80s at Gig-a-Roo II in a valley outside of Lewistown Pennsylvania with that same best friend. I remember coming back to my dorm room in college one day to find my roommate who didn't like them sitting cross-legged on the floor with OMD playing. He looked at me with a huge smile and shouted, "This is GREAT!" My two young sons would ask me to play "Chicken Train" and would run in circles around the living room until it was over and they would fall down laughing. "Mountain Range" will be played at my funeral. Thank you for the music.
Sounds like a good memory! They're great people too. Some of the kindest and most down to earth individuals.
je vous adore!!!!! Amitiés de France .
Jackie Blue ..one of the best
And it`s very great that them had a Norwegian guitar player with them, Rune Walle.
I don't like her at all. She seems like a good person but there is something about her. I always change the channel when she is on. Same with Jennifer Coffey.
I don’t mind her on sat. Mornings but cannot stand Roberti
I don't like kristen the first time she was on QVC for the first sometime she talk to loud
LOVE HER
Kerstin is sweet, down to earth and relatable. I like her on QVC.
I'm glad you're still playing and I keep going. But there was no better lineup than John, Steve, Larry, Supe, and Randle. Glad I got to see the reunion at Wildwood Lodge in 2005 and 2006.
Never liked her huge ego. Wish she'd go back to California!
She is so annoying. She thinks she is so cute and clever.
I always liked her
Still got my faves on iPhone in my playlists. "We're rolling ... *laughter* ... I say, I do do believe we're rolling..."
OMD - another great group managed by Paul Peterson and New Wave/Up Front Mgmnt. Amazingly unique style straight from the So. Midwest.
I just wandered into this interview. It's great to hear, you're still doing it. I just heard, Aerosmith, is calling it quits. ((( As far as I'm concerned, ALL of you old dogs are STILL showing these newbies, how it was done.... AND, STILL ROCKIN' IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I could go on, But, Most of us grey-haired, Long-toothed people, can take the lyrics away from the lead, and get it spot-on, in concert... not knowing more than 15 people!!!!! WE EFFIN' ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!
OMD Gin: We Made It Right. 🤘
Loved 'em - had the first 4 albums back then.
Great band, had the first 3 albums.
Loved 'em, had the first 3 albums back then - still played.
Had the first 4 albums back then - super band. Still played.
O!M!D! The real OMD. First heard them in college in Montana.
We love the Ozark Mountain Daredevils here in Montana
Always play to the song. I played with Buddy while he was in Med school. Send me a note if you need a drummer. Would love the gig .
I still listen to Spaceship Orion and Country Girl- my two favorite songs- almost every week. Of course, Jackie Blue too, but my favorites are and always be like I said above.
I love this band. I’m a Missouri girl. Almost 60. Got their awesome famous album on my 14th birthday after a float trip to Current River/ Sinks. Maybe my 5th trip.
R.I.P. Steve Cash
As a child of the 70s Six Flags St. Louis was our daycare, season passes. I saw them there many many times Old Glory Amphitheater
Saw these guys in the 70s live concert and had all albums till then and have the rest. What a great band a big part of Americana. Great concert. Im 70yrs and still listen to them yesterday. Peace Out and Love MMLZZZ
I first met them fifty years ago when I was 10. I was just a kid. I remember traveling with Mike "supe" Granda to a concert and I learned what a genius he is. First, he had 20/1 vision. He could see a steet sign miles away! Second, he is a mathematical genius. He can take a billboard and in seconds add all the letters to come up with a total. That is a lot harder than you might think given it is not a system based on 10 that he is working with. On top of that, I still play and sing their songs on my uke, definitely my favorite thing to play and sing.
long live OMD
"Its all about the music." YES! ❤
