I knew there was a Japanese version (and I like the vibe better, even though I don’t speak Japanese lol) but I wasn’t aware the lyrics were different

The original Donkey Kong (Cranky Kong) was Mario's pet. After Mario got a girlfriend, Donkey Kong doesn't get much attention from Mario. Donkey Kong kidnapped Mario's girlfriend because he was jealous of her and wanted to play a prank. Donkey wanted Mario to play with him. Is this setting remembered by them?

To be honest I didn't know Mario, DK and Pauline have there own show. Even shocking to me Stanley the Bugman is in it. Plus the voice of Mario in this show he was voice by Peter Cullen fans know him for voicing Optimus Prime and Ironhide in Transformers Generation 1. This show Peter Cullen give Mario a New Yorker voice before a Brooklyn voice then Italian voice. Pauline's hair color doesn't bother me and her in the red dress is normal and nice.
