If you want some fun install the "Komaki Restoration Mod" to swap two of Kiryu's legend style moves in. The Tiger Drop and the Komaki Parry.

Tips : Counter hook is strongest the lower your heat gauge is, so spend your gauge on some heat actions and continue to not sugarcoat it afterward
Alternatively, use moves that consume heat. I know Kiryu has his YYY combo on Brawler and a command grab in XXXYB (Assuming a Xbox controller).

Dragon twist counter is one of my favs to do as well tbh so satisfying. This is definitely the superior option for fighting two Mr Shakedowns though 👍🏻
With the restoration mod installed it becomes the Komaki Parry which is even more hilerious for fighting mr shakedowns, it stuns then a long time and you can wail on them relentlessly. It's even EAISER to do then the tiger drop too!

For me Majima's elbow counter in Breaker is somewhat better at some point, both protag counter will increase damage when the heat is low and the counter doesn't stop the enemies like Legend Style and Thug's Harsh Lesson but Majima are the only one who acquire the Calm Towel heat is always low and Breaker also have the wake up move after getting knockdown if fail to hit

The game never tells you to play mahjong, eventually you'll go on your own
I would do all the Mahjong stuff for you in exchange for you doing the two most difficult Disco battles for me, and baseball maybe, but then I'm not going for 100% so the two disco ones would be fine, I just wanted to do all the substories really. Ah well.
@@LyingSecret the disco ones , it was so freakin tough man i still remember i spent several hours in order to complete that and then comes that one guy from osaka who is next to impossible to beat but i did beat him eventually but the satisfaction you get after completing that is unbelievable. But the mahjong is soooooooooooo shite ahhhh its not like the game is difficult the npc wins within seconds they always get matching tiles , its made hard on purpose idk why
@@ShivangShandilyaa I could do Mahjong given enough time, it took me around 3 hours in 0 and maybe longer in Kiwami, but even longer in YLAD just because I am not great at it personally. I know enough to stumble through a game, like with KOI KOI, but yeah that disco thing beat me, fuck disco.

I slept on this counter til it was too late honestly. It's so easy to pull off, probably more than the tiger drop I'd say. Not as cool doe
