Hauling our brand new 2024 Blazen Toy Hauler USING the Rivian from Riverside, CA to North of Sacramento. We used only the Rivian Network to charge! If you watch the video you will see we note all of the chargers and the experience we had at every stop. It was a long haul, but worth the drive. Side note: Sorry for the bright glare y'all! We'll get better with our next content!

I hauled my Surron Ultra Bee to Truckee, California from Sacramento in my Rivian R1t and documented the whole experience. #rivian #r1t #surron #dirtbike #ebike #supercharging #ultrabee
We've charged at Rivian chargers a number of times and have never used my app. Just plug it in and away it goes as long as you have a credit card set up in your Rivian account.
EV towing isnt necessarily about weight. Its much mroe about aerodynamics. The bigger/boxier the toy hauler/trailer, the worse it is. The Rivian did much better towing more weight than that but with low profile pop-ups or low haul trailers. Just not meant for large traile towing on anregular basis unless you're just relaxing while stilping every 130-150 miles.
I remember seeing your dirt bike video a year ago, u still riding?
@@JHunter_ I haven’t been riding as much as I’d like been working too much and then I bought the utv so most of my free time I try to take that out. Gonna try to take both out next time
you shouldn't even need the app at all. Just put in your final destination, let the route planner send you where you need to go, it will also tell you how much to charge at each stop before you can continue on. Never need to open the app, just plug the truck in and let it do its thing. This works without any need for an app if you are using either Rivian or Tesla chargers. If you end up at EA or something else, sure then you need their specific app.
@@paulbram2 Tesla chargers allow you to just pull up and plug in but Rivian chargers need you to select the charger in the app to start charging. EA actually will let you just swipe your cc and plug in without the app, but they offer discounts I think with the app.
just plug your camper into the 120v outlet in your Rivian. It's probably enough to run your AC.
@@paulbram2 We tried running it on 110v but it didn’t want to get the trailer cold but it did turn on. When I plugged it in to the 220 on the generator later it blew colder
If you have a good credit card with Rivian you don't have to use your app on your phone, you just plug the Rivian into the charger and it just starts charging just like Tesla...
@@rgonzo009 That is right, we made a mistake in the app in this video and haven’t had an issue since
Thanks for posting. This is helpful as I'll be getting an R1T in the next few months and I tow as well.
Thank you, have fun
Bro fix your exposure and clean your lens
@@tjts1 appreciate it will do
We need more riding footage 😊
Yessir I will make that happen 😊
Im looking forward to it! Got an UB myself with a 21/18 setup. Such a blast for woods riding.
There's a setting for the speed at which your Surron charges when it plugs directly to the wall from the bike. If it's slow it might be on the lowest voltage settings, I know mine took forever to charge until I changed it.
Good to know, mine seems to be charging at what I expected. I’ll look into it more
The chargers designed to fit under the seat. You can run the cord out under the bike and loop the plug that goes into the bike out the side. There's even an indent for the cord out of the side.
Thank you, I used it on my last ride
Man I so loved it. U r all about E-vehicles. Awesome equipment and such a humble dude. Great video. Keep it up. I hope to see more content. Cheers
Thank you man I appreciate that. I will keep at it 🍻
Cruise it
Check out the video where I take it up to truckee to ride. I’ll get more riding content up soon
for the charger make sure to disconnect 120v power first when stopping charging, plug in 120v after battery plug when charging. connect battery main orange plug first then the blue / black comm plug, disconnect battery blue / black plug first also soprt mode with F3 setting is good
Thank you
I just took delivery of my Ultra Bee yesterday. Took it out for a couple of hours last night and heading to the cottage for three days of riding. She is a beaut.
That is awesome, congrats on the bike. My first ride is today, stoked.
