I agree to some degree with what Pastor Femi is saying but disagree with some of his positions. I can see it comes from his African orientation of the woman being socialised for domestic work without a thought for men to be just as self-sufficient and useful at home. He is always placing domestic work at the feet of the women. Can men not also play host to guests? Can men not also cook and clean the house? In this day and age where both spouses work, they need to work in partnership too on the domestic front. The woman cannot be the only homebuilder. Men have a role to play too as the dynamics in the home are not always static. I also find that most Nigerian men view feminism negatively and I guess this is down to their lack of education on what feminism really is about. Your wife, sister, mother and female relatives can hold office jobs, go to school and own bank accounts thanks to feminism. We do not throw the baby out with the dirty bathwater now.

Real men are whole men, and whole men are scarce. Wow!

Thank you very much sir. I am a victim of this. I was paralyzed in my own case. I saw and I was convinced about the red flags. I saw the red flags both physically and spiritually. I was so paralyzed that I wanted to leave the relationship but I couldn't. The trauma from my dysfunctional home made me so desperate and foolishly loyal. I had a serious low self-esteem. See, I had to cry to God for help. God came in and commanded the guy to leave me alone. As in, the way the guy left me ehnnn..., he actually fled from me cos my being with him now became a threat to his life. It became a matter of life and death for him. God nor dey joke with His children o! Now I am in God's Intensive Care Unit for proper healing.

A lot of pastors always speak as though they really understand women instead of saying that in their case, they found someone who understood them and were willing to tolerate their shortcomings so every little thing they decide to do for their wives , she appreciates it and magnifies that kind gesture just to fuel their egos and all of a sudden they feel like they’re the best marriage counselors.
