Super interesting! Wish I'd seen this when it first came out so I could use this info in our fundraising process! We ended up closing a $1.6M pre-seed round so we got there in the end, but there were tons of areas of improvement.
Thanks so much Rae! I did see that you closed that round (have been following you on X for a while) so a huge congratulations for that!! Really rooting for you to keep growing and hit your long-term expansion vision. Best of luck! I'll be following!
How can we get In on this , pre ipo?
Great vid! How do you calculate for the IRR of each scenario?
Thanks! Nice review
I don't trust it somehow
So where do the "spent" rods go? They may be cleaner, but that doesn't mean harmless! Are we going to send them into space?
I believe they've gotten much better at dispensing waste as of late or else they wouldn't have flipped their policy. I wouldn't be surprised if space is the solution is a few years though!
And the waste the new reactors produce is not anywhere near as toxic. Nuclear was always the answer, people were just too stupid to ask the right question.
Science > Hand-wringing
Nuclear is NOT renewable. Lets stop this talk okay?
why not?
Environmentalist hate nuclear tho…… bc it was never about the environment and that’s coming from professors at Michigan State University at least the hate portion is its one of the Biggest environmental universities in the country…..
We have figured out how to build them in a chernoble sytly crucible. After the rods are spent, it can be filled with cement and relocated.
The price of EVERYTHING would go down if energy costs decreased
I can't even imagine how much better the world will be once the costs are near zero. It drives everything
Glad to see it. Nuclear is the future, we’ve wasted a lot of time vilifying it.
3.1 millions German soldiers fighting the Eastern soviet union and 200k with western allies. 90% of the German soldiers were fighting the soviet union eastern front .
In the eastern theater, the US produced more Liberty ships than the German navy could sink!
USSR won World War II in Europe. In fact they don’t even call it World War II, it is the Great Patriotic War. US can take credit for victory over Japan, although the threat of Soviet participation ultimately led to Japans surrender.
Why is this "a ridiculous passage?"
Do you know the US was also financing the Nazis. War is just business for those in the US.
Also 47,000 shermans. Also Britain had to pay because of lend lease whereas the Soviets got a blank check basically.
Ridiculous?
Its a number out of context, the reason the US could do this was being isolated by 2 oceans and not fighting at home and having their infrastructure destroyed... its like saying how the brittiah empire built more ships than any other nation, sure its true, but its also lacking in the context that the uk controlled half the planet for a long time....
OK, but how does that change anything? Also, the other part of it is the US was already the world's leading industrial power at the beginning of WWII. It had productive capacity to burn. BTW, most of this productive capability is long gone, which is a sobering thought.
Thats whats scary about China
It is. Many reports suggest China is undertaking a WWII-esque build up of weapons and supplies. Hopefully the U.S. and its Asian allies can close the gap. A U.S., Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan production alliance could dissuade China from taking military action---especially if we can get more of southeast asia as well.
The US and the USSR had a ridiculous amount of resources and industrial capacity compared to Germany. German equipment was more advanced in some fields (not all) and Germans usually won 1 vs 1 fights, but those were rare overall. Some Panzer divisions had a kill-to-death ratio of 10:1 in the Eastern Front, but that didn't help when the allies were so far ahead in terms of resources, industry and logistics.
I heard the Germans were far more advanced at the beginning of the war, especially the Panzer divisions, but the allies caught up technically, especially when it came to aviation. Not only did the allies begin outproducing, but they withered away that technical arbitrage that Germany relied on.
One stat I heard was that the US was producing more machine guns each month than Japan produced in total, during the war. Another stat was that the Imperial Japanese Gov't made provisions for each Japanese soldier with about 100lbs of supplies (from gear, gun, ammo, equipment, clothing, food, medical supplies, etc), while the US provided each American soldier with 2 tons of supplies.
The magnitude is unbelievable. Thanks for sharing
... You beat me to it, the break down I read was very specific and overwhelming...
20 million dead Russians would like to have a word…
Haha yes they certainly played a major role in defeating Germany. A gross strategy purely built on scale, but nonetheless, effective.
Why are you just reading off an article you are showing on the screen? Why should I watch your channel?
I'm basically just showing you an interesting thing. I don't know why it would be more valuable had I memorized it. I assumed it'd be easier for you to follow along if I put the words on the screen as well.
"WElL gERmaNy CoUlD haVE WoN iF THeY-" No. They couldn't have.
No they actually could of, Hitler just was bonkers especially at the end of the war, you so realize Hitler and Stalin wanted to join forces. General Patton respected the Germans. Do actual research please
Many historians shrivel at the fact of what would've happened had Germany not invaded Russia. A lot think Germany would've conquered all of Europe relatively quickly.
Ummm, who is the main power in europe at the moment? And 3rd largest economy after the US and China (both of which are currently imploading).... then take a look at american Conservative values at the moment and they fact they are running mien kampf as their how to guide.... it was closer than people realise and people not realising that is why its currently happening again. Look at the US, the look at mid 1920's germany
If either the US or Soviets didn't enter the war or made peace earlier, Germany could have not lost.
@@user_journeyswhoever thinks that should pick up a history book
All of that would be only $300 billion? Our presidents add TRILLIONS to our debt. What the hell are they doing???????
The aircraft alone was nearly a trillion. Still needed repair parts, maintenance crews to train, and pay, and pilots to fly. That's just the planes.
That is just for procurement, with massive economies of scale, with significantly less advanced planes. This doesn't factor in maintenance or paying the personell using or maintaining these planes.
Embraer just lunch it’s new E190 to Singapore airline. Keep an eye on them too. And yes I agree Boom supersonic is the future.
You're right that Embraer will be one to watch. I'll have to look into them more.
Thanks!

How much do Walmart executives make???
A lot more now than back in the 70s when Sam Walton was scaling the business, but still less than most executives of $400b+ companies.

I think podcastAI has some really cool features. It always frustrates me when I cant check the description for timestamps of a podcast and skip to the sections I want to listen to. I would definitely be interested in investing ( if i had the money )
Agree! Definitely a lot of cool features for both the podcaster and the listener. Everyone wins.
Great video, I can tell you put a lot of time and effort into your research and content.
also smaller funds can insider trade without suspicion more easily😅
Venture capital wouldn't exist without insider trading lol. That's all it is!
