My Pentair Mastertemp pool heater would not turn on. This video explains what the problem was and how I fixed it. After eliminating other potential causes like the power supply and fuses, I determined the issue was the control board. Then came the decision of how much money to spend on a replacement control board.
This video does not include a step-by-step process of how to replace the control board. But it’s pretty intuitive if you’ve ever worked on your pool heater before. The job can be done in about 20 minutes if you get the covers on and off quickly. Be sure to turn the power off at the breaker first.

A magical night at Mather Field from 4 o’clock until dusk. I did not film the Thunderbirds although they were spectacular. I was parked at the beginning of the runway. These were the cheap (free) seats! Thought that was an F 22 but maybe it was the F 18 Super hornet. I think they were two versions of the F 35 lightning as well.
