Making one firing 38 S&W short would be so easy by Marlin or Henry. They would just have to make a smaller scale of their mechanism.

Hi Chad, I just ordered this and it looks like the closest thing to a real life auto 9. I was wondering though, do you happen to know of a way I could modify this to emulate a 3 round burst blowback at the pull of the trigger? I don't want it firing any projectiles, I just want the blowback to happen is all. If there's no other way, no big deal, this gun's already good enough as is anyway :)

That rubber hose was the Achilles heal of the kit for me. I need to replace the original. Where did you get that tubing from? Its not water drip system tubing. Walking around Home Depot so far I have not found an equivalent.

Why can't some manufacturer make a .22lr or .22 magnum version of this pistol ? It'd sell especially if they keep the price reasonable

Thanks for the detailed assembly instructions and tips. As always I am amazed by the functionality you build into these kits. Do you have a UA-cam video to recommend that tells how to paint grips to look like wood? That is one thing I can never get right. Also, pictures show a dark antiquing in the grooves of the cylinder that require some painting techniques that I need to learn so any video recommendations there?

Another great model kit! You really don't disappoint. :) I'm thinking that building this kit enables you to cast it in foam as well.
