The bodysuit one is more contouring and can be worn as an under top, so I will probably wear that one more, but the short ones are amazing for sheer layering and short dresses where you need shorts underneath them, though going to the bathroom with it won’t be as fun because it is a one-piece suit 😅 Both are amazing pieces, which is why I am keeping both, It all depends on your needs and preferences. @@Simplelivingslowliving no worries at all, I am currently on a social media detox, so I wouldn't have seen your message on Instagram for a while if you had messaged me that way 😅 Regarding the sizing with the Jesse Kamm sailors, I too fluctuate in weight and they still fit me okay at my highest, however, I prefer them when they are a little loose on the hips. I find them more flattering and comfortable. Yes, they will break in within one wear. They did for me and got a tad loose and more comfortable but not too big where I needed to size down. The waist is still a bit loose, but I still haven't taken them in yet, because I want to find someone who will not ruin the most expensive pants I own. They are precious to me ☺️ I think they are true to size! I got size 2 and that's what I normally wear with other brands. I noticed with your measurements that you like me have a big gap between your waist and hips, so I am thinking you will have a gap on the waist regardless. It all also depends on how much you fluctuate when you are at your highest. If is just one size, maybe getting the 12 will be the best option, but if again if you like your pants loose on the hips and you fluctuate up to 2 sizes, size 14 may be best. If you are in a position to order the 12 and 14 and return the ones that don’t fit, I would do that. Make sure you talk to the company to make sure you can get all of your money back, so there is no confusion. If not, Order size 12, walk around the house for a few hrs, and decide if that's the fit you want, and if they will be okay if you gain a bit of weight. I think they look fantastic when they fit a bit loose and when they are a bit tight. Ultimately is about how you want them to fit you now and if and when they get a little tight, style them a bit differently and if you are in a position of getting another pair then, sell them and get your new size! Important note: I have washed them a handful of times in the past 3 years and I wear them often. Inside out on a delicate setting and hang to dry! They will fit tight after being washed but will loosen up after a bit. I hope this was helpful! And please ask me any other questions you may have! I wouldn’t be able to order both sizes to try on but after giving it much thought and reading you response I think the best is to go with size 14 and alter if necessary. I have a gap in all my jeans regardless of brand lol. And now I’m a mom to two babies under 3 so I have a bit of a fupa going on. My weight goes up by a pound or two right before my period so it’s not much but I’d prefer if my jeans are a bit loser at the hips to sit more comfortably. And yes I totally understand the need to find a good tailor to alter your jeans because I’ve watched a few of your videos and know you love them so much and wear them so often. 😊 I think I’ll love them also. I’m thinking about the dark blue jeans would be best for me . I think it’s such an elegant color for fall and winter since I already have the marine straight jeans from Zara in medium blue (they are a good dupe to the Jesse kamm sailor ones). Right now on the website the 12 is sold out in the dark blue anyway and there’s only one 14 left. Im hoping to get them soon. They are a pretty penny like you said in one of your videos 😂😂
